Good considering the age
Phone owned for more than a year

Had this one since 2017, recently dropped it for like the 50th time (including in water), and the screen shattered beyond recognition. Though I quite like this phone and I bought a replacement screen+case+screen protector from Aliexpress (30 dollars), so now it's going strong again. It's served and continues to serve me well.

The positive things about this phone is the by Xiaomi standards solid build quality and easy to find spare parts, good quality and really loud speaker, decent call quality and great battery quality. I'm still on the original battery from 2017 and it's still always lasting a full day as it used to do when the phone was brand new. I'm running Lineage OS 17.1 so it's still very up to date and gcam works just fine for good quality photos.

The negatives are definitely the headphone jack that hisses a lot, the somewhat pale display and too cold display (fixable on Lineage OS), the upgrades on stock Android being troublesome and the radiation of the phone supposedly being quite high.

The first Xiaomi Android One device
Phone owned for less than 3 months

It's very affordable phonefor everyone, but price is Directly proportionate to quality.

Phone has metal body which is very pleasant in hand but it scratches and slides easily so you should be careful with it.Screen is 2.5D glass and you should consider this before buying tempered glass. It has one colour led notification which is also disappointing.
Display is awful with it's faint colours,it also lacks saturation.
System is fast overall, gets updates quickly, but lacks customization because of stock Android and for me it's very sad(personal opinion).
Camera is good at daylight photos, has very good portrait mode, captures 4k ,but at night quality of both photos and videos doesn't have EIS or OIS .
Battery is very good but didn't lasts as other Xiaomi's 4100mah phones logically.I am heavy user and scored 6h average of screen on usage on Android 8.0 (browser, some gaming, internet, brightness 30%).it charged in about 2 hours before they add quick charging in 8.0 Android, but it's fun because overall time decreased for 10-15m .

Finally i say that for stock Android lovers this phone is dream and it's the best in price category.

Best choice in budget world
Phone owned for less than a year

XIaomi Mi A1 is very good phone with 4/64 Config and Stock Android. The build quality is good and is has a good price.

Quite a solid cell in this price. Portrait mode is fun to use. It would have been great if it had optical image stabilization or even Electronic stabilization.
