Description

The Sony Xperia 1 is a smartphone that stands tall above the rest. Its signature feature is the extra-tall, 6.5-inch AMOLED display with 21:9 aspect ratio and 4K resolution. It is also the first Sony flagship phone to feature three rear cameras: a super wide-angle camera, a telephoto camera for zooming, and main camera for every-day use. The powerful Snapdragon 855 ticks on the inside next to a 3330mAh battery.

A real alternative to the S10+
Phone owned for less than 3 months

The phone is a real alternative for the ones who still doesn´t like the Samsung Galaxy S line. I really don´t like Samsung UI, i even think they still have the worst Android skin out there. So why did i choose the Xperia 1 instead of the other ones? Well, i´ve been using LCD since 2014 and i was tired of having poor contrast and not real blacks. It was time to spend some extra bucks to have OLED. When i saw that Sony launched the first 4k OLED display with unique HDR BT2020 i immediately fell in love with it.
Making all story short, the Xperia 1 surprised me to have a good fidelity on colors and also not having over processed photos and videos when shooting with its camera. This camera you either will love it or hate it. The camera preserves sharpness and it doesnt over process images like the Oneplus and Samsung does, they produce real and natural colors like the professional photographers like. I´ve seen some stupid reviews claiming that the Dynamic range from the camera was bad, this is because mostly of them are used to have brands that use A LOT of software, generally you lose some quality when you have a camera that over process images. So don´t ever say that dynamic range is bad since the propose of this camera is to show you the real world with natural colors.

New Ericsson
Phone owned for less than a month

I love the phone, have managed to find a cover for the phone so even better. Only problem I have encountered is the screen stop working on me, problem was solved though by a hard reset of the battery.
