I owened this cell for 1 year and i can tell is one of the best phone i ever used..very good music quality,4 gb memory that allow you to load music and applicatin like navigator,dictionary,dvx player and so on. RADIO with Rds.Good battery life and sys speed. I just had a couple of freezing, everything ok after tun it off. It came with nice headphone and separate speakers..

when i first came acrosss this i was like WHAT! it has no camera but the more i thought about, the more it occured to me how silly cameras on mobile phones are! 3 2 1 and some as low as 0.3 (vga) megapixels on phone camers just sounds like toys compared to proper digital cameras which have 8 and above megapixels so to me this phone seems really smart that SE decided to create a music oriented symbian touch phone without a stupid novelty camera. This phone is not a top end phone and so would not have been blessed with a half decent camera like its older brother the w960i and by not having a camera this phone has room for other things like the jog dial and infrared port (which was removed on w960i). allup this an AWESOME! phone for its mid-range price blowing away its competitors the only complaints is no backlight keypad, no 3.5 mm headphone jack and it only comes in one colour :( .
ps: the screen is a great size for wathcing movies/tv on the go!!

This phone is not for kids. It has no camera, but who cares?(kids)...you have one at home anyways...the music player is simply astounishing, very clear sound with tons of effects. sound quality beats any other music player i've used(ipods,xen..etc). This thing runs symbian os, therefore it really isn't much of a phone, more like a pocket pc. you can load it with tons of usefull software. the keyboard is kinda dumb here, but once you get used to the writing recognition feature - you'll be able to text and such faster than anyone. if some of you just don't see yourself using a stylus to do your texting-every number has a bump on it, if you press directly on it you're sure to never miss a key. Highly recommended! personally, i find it faster and more usefull than iphone.
P.S. you can get one of these on ebay for around $250 without contract! nothing beats that!

I read almost every review out there, plus the opinions on www.gsmarena.com, before I shoveled out my $499.00 on www.plemix.com. My only complaint is that the keyboard could be better & it would've been nice if it had been quad ban. I don't care about the lack of a camera due to having a really nice Sony digital one. The MP3 player is awesome & the included headset is really nice (not like the cheap sounding ones that came with my iPOD. It also sounds good through my Sony Ericsson stereo bluetooth headset (HBH-DS970) There is also a nice amount of software out there to pump it up as a smartphone. The screen colors & the touchscreen attribute make it good for games. I traded in my SE k750i for it & I'm not looking back' it's a great phone.

i hate this phone. the worse thing or feature is it has no cameeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrraaaaaaaa, thats kinda important right now a days. simply dont buy it the only good thing about it is that it plays music and touchscreen

Who can find a better phone than Sony Ericsson W950? I love this cell phone so much. I do owned Nokia and motorola cell phones before but nothing comes close to this phone.

Hi, I'm currently playing with this new phone. It's not too bad however the screen is such high-res that everything is very small and delicate. I often hit the wrong things when on the train using the equally tiny stylus.

Above all the most annoying thing about this phone is the keyboard. Nearly every time you hit one key you hit the one next to it too!

Aside from that it is very powerful, very light and looks good too!

Would be nice if it had a camera too but hey!

I think im in love!! the forst time i saw this phone i knew i want one.. Sadly, i don't think we have this phone in our country yet.. Not that were delayed when it comes to technology, just that it takes a couple of months before it gets here.. Anyway, once this phone gets here? i'll definitely get one!! :)
