Sony Ericsson G502 User Reviews

I bought the phone in January 2009. And I chnage it on May 2010. The phone has poor buld quality, poor plastic. The text (Sony Ericsson) on the back cover is fell. One or two monts after I bought the phone, it started to reset when it wants (the first software updates didn't helped). I can't make calls, because when I pull out the phone from my pocket, the phone restarts. After few dropings the body happened in scratches, distortion and the back cover fells out. Like multimedia is good (the sound is not very loud). It has memory card slot. The battery is good, the display also. The camera is not so good, but I can live without it.
Maybe some of the problems is because there are bad batch.

i started using sony ericsson for a change and iam in great trouble now.....i bought a sony ericsson G502 ....and the problems are a lot


1)cant dial a number with out saving it ...if i dial a number with out saving the number ....phone get hanged .....
2) most of the time cant take an incoming call ......again the phone gets hang.....

and now the most interesting problem " phone cant be charged  ....i went to an authorised repair centre of sony ericsson in cochin  in gcda complex, cochin .kerala run by the swiss time house group with the worst customer service in the world ....they charged me and "repaired me " the phone .....after two days i cant charge it .....again ....

This phone is perfect one :) For only 2MPX camera it's the best.2 MP is the size, but the quality is like 12MPX.I love this camera.Big sized photos,no problems,good quality videos.This is cameraphone.And this phone can be personalized with themes,screensavers...it's the first phone with 3G and no 2nd cametra :D but i don't need 2nd camera.I like the media center,it's just like...like...it's like my PlayStationPortable.Very good phone.Design-10,Features-10 and perfomance 9(for restarting i removed one point).

Browsing speed of the phone is really stunning. Good phone if you dont bother it much. what i mean to say is, this phone can run many Java applications simultaneously, but if we run too many it gets restarted. i almost kill this phone daily running many java applications and browsers simultaneously and at the same time listening to music. very friendly phone dont bother us much if we dont bother it.

Call Speaker and messaging are al good, of course the volume is bit low, bot its ok. its clear and can be heard properly when there is not much disturbance around.

Camera is simply Superb. my 2mp cam generates better pic than my mates 8mp samsung phone camera.

this is truely reliable phone. it fall from bike when i was on ride when i tried to take it out from my pocket to attent a call. trust me even though it fell on road and experienced some good number of sumersaults it didnt get turned off and astonishing thing is that it was still ringing when i went back to pick it from road.

Great Phone.

I did one of the biggest mistake by buying this phone. Some of the great features1)  I have around 200-250 contacts, now if i receive/make/missed any call, it doesn't show-up i.e, it shows only those contacts which are already available in contact list ( it shows dialled/missed/received ), but any new number..... no way.2) From last one-and-half month, i am facing one more excellent feature.... once you are in call, suddenly the call drops, after around 8-10 swconds, the great G502, vibrates, and then it shows "Searching".... ( network is lost ), in the same place where i was using this phone, when it comes back... it works fine. Now imagine, you are attainding important call, may be an "interview", imagine the pain.....Hope you understand my pain, and never-ever buy this phone. rather buy nokia's 1200 rs phone, or any phone other than sony ericsson may be chinese made also should be better than this junk phone.

great phone no flaws, it surpisingly takes a good picture for only a 2 mega pixel, has no flash, but pics look great outdoors..  video is ok pretty decent as well.. it has the sony music styles very similaur to the walkman and easy acces to media.. the screen is very clear very smart looking phone, buttons are very close together but you get used to it. obviously its hspda 3.6 mbps the same as wireless broadband speeds. its made for internet capabilities. sound when talking is good, sound listening to music is great with no distortion, good reception, its a pretty decent all round phone, and it has looks too, 8 0f 10 for a mid range phone...
