The battery life time is sooo bad i have to reahcarge it everynight and all of my friends phones last for like a week without charging. the bit that you take out to charge it is week and had snapped off, it says it has voice recorder and you canrt even hear it and the slide is reallt weak
i regret buying this phone

Some really appalling stuff on this phone. Battery life is atrocious, i have to charge it every night. 218 hours standby my ass! Honestly, this is not good enough.

But what gets me down the most is the MANUAL SHEET! Completely terrible, it tells you nearly nothing about the phones features, etc. Knowing how to use my phone was a case of trial-and-error for a lot of things. I didn't even know my phone had speakerphone or camcorder on it until I searched for information on the web.
I still don't even know how to find those things. If anyone can tell me how to access speakerphone and camcorder on a SGH-X530, let me know, please.

Why is it that a game came with it, but I cannot find any other games on the web that are compatible, even if they are Java? Samsungmobile.com does not even have games available for this model, even though the game that came with it refers to Samsung Fun Club.

The plastic back for this phone is flimsy. Also the covers for the earphones port and the charger port are flimsy and could be easily pulled off.



A good note though, it has good features with the camera, like the sketchy effects and the frames, etc.

Hi. I just bought this fone. I needed a cheap one to use to make calls and Sms... i also wanted a camera Phone. Anyway. To your questions and opinions.
Try at your local Phone shops for your data cable... i saw one in optus the other day. Even try ebay.

I downloaded a ringtone just the other day. Im not sure wat carrier u are with but i am with Optus and I used GPRS on my fone and accessed the optus page and they have all sorts of things to download... Cost credit or cost to your bill though.

it very hard to get the data cable.where can i get it?one thing is bout batterry ....very worst...just spend one hour in heavy sms battery almost flat ....so it too trouble to support long journey...

Wofeful battery life.......48hrs on standby, not good enough Samsung.
Easy to use but very basic. infra red does not work, software does not work with the phone, cannot download ringtones.

this is nice cell phone. if you don't wanna shoot the rocket to moon or navigate your army by phone this is a perfect usual cell phone.
