decent but few annoying attributes

Phone owned for

Used this phone for nearly a year, to outline the negative aspects:

The screen light stays on constantly whilst charging, is there any need to be constantly aware its charging? This seems to be common to most Samsung phones these days.

The touch screen, 1 year on and its still a bit annoying. Not nearly as annoying as when I first got it - would take it out of my pocket to see its calling somebody then I would have to think of a reason to tell them why I called them else look a complete fool!

You do get usted to the touch screen, bit of a nightmare trying to text after a few beers though, wake up the next day to find a folder full of half completed messages.

Doesn’t ring and vibrate at the same time, wasn’t happy about this at first though I prefer it now. It first vibrates for a few secs before you hear your ring tone. Gives me a chance to reach out my phone and turn it off before I disturb the entire lecture theatre.

The Bluetooth is a bit annoying, not played with it much but it seems to always want to pair with whichever mobile phone it wants to send a file to rather than just sending it like any other phone.

Good things:

Never had a problem with signal strength.

Nice built in mp3 player, keeps playing whist you’re scrolling through other menus and obviously stops when you receive a call.

Comes with a data cable, however the software they provide can take quite a bit of configuring.

When I got it the sound quality was decent, until I smashed the screen by dropping it on its side (its by no means fragile though, dropped it plenty of times and seems quite hard to scratch), sent it off to Samsung who replaced the screen free of charge however they somehow managed to break the speaker.

If you want something with every feature under the sun and a better camera then maybe the sony k800 would be the best bet. If you’re after something slim, stylish and does what it says on the tin then give the E900 a look.

This is hotter that LG Chocolate

Phone owned for

I mean it...I had them both & the one who caputered most attention & attraction from the people was Samsung E900,it makes Chocolate look retard & fat at the same time...
I love it,it's camera in great,it makes acurate pictures even at full zoom & the posibilities to reflash & personalize it are numerous...
the thing that I consider a drawbach is the loudspeaker volume...it's a bit low..it need more power,it it had stereo speakers it would be great but nothing is perfect...
overall this phone is a must-have for clubbers,fashionistas & even for a day-to-day user...

E900

Phone owned for

Very good phone however it is at first rather hard to use but you get used to it after a while and once you get the hang of the touch buttons it actually makes the phone more fun to use
