k... i bought the phone before it came out on the market..off my providers website and trust me i never made a better decision. i was contemplating the lg vx 8550 chocolate spin... had them both but i jus love the rant more... sturdy design, good camera, high volume, battery lasts hrs on end.....i love my new phone recommend to everyone!!!!!

I love the phone and I just got it yesterday. I am texting a lot more than my previous phone Which is Motorola ic502. I have not gotten a chance to use the inter yet but I love the slide out keyboard is gr8. The phone does not come with any headphones but has 1 speaker on the back for listening to music.The keyboard keys are not plastic keys so they will not hurt your fingers if you text alot.

I got the Rant 2 weeks ago and has been excellent. Crisp, clear voice calls, loud ringers, excellent speed for web browing, keyboard works well.
Battery last forever and pictures are very good quality.
Some complain about no ability to download your own ring tones. So what? The Rant has many to choose from.
