I love it!!

Phone owned for less than 3 months

I have enjoyed this phone it runs smoo and fast. The camera is amazing. Multitasking is flawless I've noticed the phone can run hot occasionally and my battery is decent I can get through an average day no problem. Feels amazing in hand. Thin and the curve makes it look amazing. The features of the edge are nice but a bit gimmicky. I would recommend this phone to everyone. I love it!

Samsung galaxy s6 edge.

Phone owned for less than a month

I had this phone for 4 days. Extremely dissapoimting and very underwhelming. Yes it looks the part, but there is so much that lets it down, No SD slot, no removable battery. And boy this phone gets hot. And that battery just doesn't cut it whatsoever. The drainage on that battery is no good for someone that goes to work for a 12 hour shift. You have to turn the brightness right down. I find the edge screen very gimmicky with little use apart from a clock on the edge. Which is pretty pointless in all honesty, I was so disappointed with it as I speak I've already boxed it ready for return within 14 days of owning. Don't believe all the hype over this handset.

Best Smartphone EVER !!!!!!!

Phone owned for less than a month

I think this is probably the best smartphone built to date. I has an outstanding display and camera, as extremely solid feel to hold, very fluid and speedy interface response, and surprisingly enough very reasonable battery life (and when you do need to charge the battery, it is lightning fast.
Love the wireless changing and the fingerprint scanner in very reliable. I look forward to "Samsung Pay" to see how well this would work.
Wish it had a replaceable battery as this phone is a keeper and eventually the battery will get tired and have to be replaced. While Samsung will do this for only $45 it is very inconvenient to have to ship the phone to them and wait for the turnaround. I do not find the lack of micro-SD support an issue (thought I would but I don't)

A perfect sucessor

Phone owned for less than a month

The camera is good.
Takes time to get used to the edges, at first the feel is like handling a blunt knife and most of the time accidentally your hand and fingers would touch the side screens.
Fingerprint scanner is not as good as iphone 6.
doesn't worth 200 more than the regular s6, just for a slightly different screen.
user interface has improved.
Don't buy dark colors because you would have to carry a napkin to clean it all the time.
I had the phone for 2 days and returned it.

I'm sorry Samsung.. but this one's going back to the store.

Phone owned for less than a month

I really wanted to like this phone but it's a major disappointment.

UI is slow and choppy compared to my Nexus 5
Front camera distortion makes it barely usable
Bloatware hell out of the box
Speaker is mediocre at best (loud, but harsh and thin sound)
Call quality doesn't impress and I had weird issues with answered calls connecting the audio in delay
Device itself feels premium but very awkward to hold
and the list goes on..

Going back to the Nexus 5.. Guess I'll wait for something better.

s6 edge

Phone owned for less than a month

love it so far. Ui is greatly improved from the S3 no surprise there. The camera is by far amazing tested against a iphone 6+ and it was not contest and i thought that was a nice camera. the phone keeps getting better and when samsung pay is added it will do everything i bought it for.

Like it so far

Phone owned for less than a month

This phone is much smoother than my note 4. I can't speak for others but battery last longer than note 4 and I phone 6 plus did for my usages. I would consider my self moderate user. Not a heavy. Great so far.

The best smart phone available today.

Phone owned for less than a month

It is blazing fast, the camera is by far the best one available on any smart phone, and one of the most important aspects of a smart phone, screen quality, is top notch, and without equal. The true color rendition is the best I've seen on any phone. The battery life is much better than expected, and actually better than the other best selling phone.

Meh.

Phone owned for less than a month

A lot of manufacturing problems. A looooot of manufacturing problems. I've gone through 3 units and they've all had issues. Scratches on the screen, scratches under the screen, glass warping, etc. While I don't disagree with all the reviews about its performance and some of its hardware (camera/fingerprint sensor), there's just so many problems. T-Mobile variants having terrible battery life because of certain features like VoLTE and Wifi Calling. Back LED's are a weird colour (incandescent yellow). Some AMOLED displays are coming out the wrong colour. Non-sensitive digitizer (doesn't register a swipe as a swipe sometimes). Metal near the power button heats up uncomfortably. The edges actually distort the colour of the screen a bit, meaning rather the edges providing a pleasant and new viewing experience, often whatever you're viewing is a bit obscured/warped.

Best Galaxy phone yet.

Phone owned for less than a month

The premium feel is definitely worth it. I love how fast it is. The camera is very good in low light and is also fast for taking pictures. I would definitely recommend it, although I was kinda worried on how fragile this phone might be. It turns out that this phone can handle a pretty decent amount of abuse.
