I had this phone for 2 months and it is terrible.
It has a lot of touchscreen issues, it is slow, it has a terrible camera, not so good battery and the back cover is breaking. Plus, the screen has a painfully low resolution and size. Do not recommend
I bought this phone whilst looking to temporarily replace my S3. After purchasing I was shocked. I don't know how this phone was even approved for production. It's an absolute insult to the consumer. It cannot text, or call, or scroll without crashing and freezing repetitively.
It is impossible to run anything other than default apps.
Not even snapchat works, because for SOME reason, this phone 96% of the time cannot play video files.
I got hold of this phone very cheaply from Virgin while waiting for my new iphone to be delivered. I figured 'well it's not cost me a lot so it's better than nothing.....'. Well nothing can prepare you for quite how slow this thing is, you might as well use a pidgeon!
Samsung take note of what Nokia have done, the Lumia 520 is how a cheap smart phone should be.....
I have previously had several mobiles but none are as inactive as this. It is not the latest state of the art mobile but it is value for money. I got mine via Vodafone freedom freebee's so it was less than the advertised £75.00 at the time, price has come down £20.00 but I only paid £40.00 so it was still a good deal. Had trouble getting on line but shop assistance was well up to the mark (vodafone shop in home town), Still learning all its functions but good tip down load the virus checker from vodafone it works! stoped a virus attack when I down loaded an app from Samson's own site. That's something no other reveiwers mention: Samson has its own app site much of which is free, as well as accessing Google and vodafone shops. For a first smart phone at low price it is good value for money and ideal for those on a tight budget! Make a good pressey for birth day ofr Xmas. It looks like more expensive Galaxey models but at a smaller price!
