Everything is awespme

Phone owned for less than a month

Hard to choose where to start.
Design/Build Quality. For me metal doesn't make a difference as I have the Note 3. I gave it an 8 because I hate that they paint the sides when it could have simply been all chrome. It may as well had been plastic if you're gonna paint it.

Reception - No calling issues
Call Quality is excellent
Internet - Just as good as its been on my Note 3
Multimedia - Videos look the same mostly because no one is supporting this resolutions just yet, once that changes that will be awesome. Music quality sounds the same as my Note 3 which is excellent.
Camera is spectacular. The OIS is fast and very accurate and I took a few selfies with the new camera and I love the new 90degree capability. I haven't tried a low light pic yet.
UI Speed - The first time I opened some apps, I got a few studders. This has happened on every phone I've ever used including non-brand Samsung phones. After opening up the app once, they certainly keep getting quicker. The overall speed is very fast and very responsive.
Everyday usage. It is my everyday phone now and so far so good
Text Input - You can type, you can speak and you can write. No other phone offers this equally.
Display - this is obviously the best feature of the device. The Quad HD with the most accurate colors of ANY phone this size of not is awesome. The wallpapers look like they jump out at you they are so pretty and vivid. I can't wait for apps and games to take advantage as well.
Battery. So far my first full charge lasted me 2 days like my Note 4. When I received the phone it was 60% charged and that lasted me a full work day and was still at more than 20% as I headed home.

Decent Device, Software is Awful

Phone owned for less than a month

Totally dig the device, especially the S Pen. But, man, the TouchWiz interface is super kitschy and the way the screen displays is downright garish. It's like a huge piece of functional super-sweet candy.

It's got a sturdy build, but that leatherette back is so cheesy.

The phone call quality is odd, too. There seems to be some sort of delay, almost like the calls are going over a satellite network.

Oddly, the interface can often be very slow to respond to taps.

The battery drains insanely fast.

Impressive and beyond expectation

Phone owned for less than a month

I was never a fan of Samsung nor phablet but Galaxy Note4 is to love! Especially when I work in design field and I usually have to take the note. All the feature fits from a entrepeneur s, freelancers, to college students. I don't need to be technology saavy to find the feature useful.

The screen is nice.
The pen is great.
The battery life is good.
The features are awesome.

Thumbs up for Samsung this time

balancing

Phone owned for less than a month

going to balance this out, since some iphone fans rated this 0.

When you unbox this beast, first thing you notice are the metal sides shining at you, when you wrap those covers out and take the device on your hand you really feel the perfect balance of premium and grip.
superb screen, blows me away everytime i turn screen on.
camera!

NOTE 4 A GREAT PHONE AND SMART TOO.

Phone owned for less than a month

So after reading some of the reviews I thought I would post mine. For those that don't like change I can see why they might be a little hard on their review of the phone. In all honesty the phone is an improvement over the fantastic Note 3. We already know the screen is so much better but the functions are as well. But, they have changed the way some of the functions work from the Note 3 so there is a bit of a learning curve. However, the changes are improvements. For example the open/close apps button is quite a change but much easier to use. IM not sure why people have mentioned the texting the way they have. First off the voice to text is much improved. My Note 3 put me in some pretty embarrassing situations where the Note 4 has been perfectly accurate. This Note learns you and what your needs and wants and interests are better than any other phone I've seen. It's finally a truly smart phone. The camera is great. Say what you want about phone cameras but Samsung had out done themselves on this one. The Camera is a solid 10. A few problems though. The UI was a bit sluggish at first but the more I used the phone the more it went away and now it's perfect. The Lock screen has only one swipe option. I've also noticed a few other settings that they wont let you change. The options are listed but you can't change them. Get rid of that Flipboard swipe left option that wont allow you to continually rotate the screens. That was always one of Samsung's best features and the Flipboard swipe left takes that away. Also this screen is less saturated in color than the Note 3 is. I compared both phones side by side and the Note 4 is more accurate but the Note 3 is more saturated. I always liked the over saturation, kinda sorry to see it go. When I learned the speaker had been moved to the back again I was a bit worried but don't believe what you've heard. The speaker is much improved and much louder than the Note 3. The screen color is the best out there period. The Amoled screen is so superior to anything out there. I could keep going... It's a great phone and Smart too.

Sammy Note 2014

Phone owned for less than a month

I like the design, battery sucks as it drains every 30-60 sec every time in use or even when not in use, speaker not loud, lag, complicated to understand, fragile but great look qaulity. I am 60% satisifed with this phone not as I was hoping for 90% or above.

great phone other reviews are bs

Phone owned for less than a month

Great ogle been using it for a week the screen is amazing and the phone is super quick I wad surprised with AL the apps I babe that it hasn't slowed down. Love having the metal it makes the phone feel better not cheap metal like the iPhone I had in the past. The battery last fir two days which is amazing cause my brothers note 3 doesn't last as long. But I'm very happy with the phone so far and feel is the best phone I've ever have and that's saying allot being that I worked for att and had probably every smart phone that they carried this one tops them even the note 2 which I thought was a beast.

Keep your Note 3

Phone owned for less than a month

Thank goodness for return policies! The resolution is such a non issue. It is also a pentile display so do the math (= not so much). I gave it a shot since it was a super AMOLED screen, but I was wrong. This phone's screen is barely better than the G3's. Save yourself some money and stick with your Note 3. You'll thank me later!

disappointed

Phone owned for less than a month

it is a new phone and all, but I have both note :the note 3 and 4, and since my point of view the note 4 do the same , the UI in note 3 looks more professional , note 4 is so colorful ( so that it looks to me like a kid toy )
in brief, if you have note 3 there is not need for upgrade, and if you don't have a note wait for note 5, note 4 is not worth it

best 2014/2015 smartphone

Phone owned for less than a month

First up, screen size. The original Note came with a 5.3-incher, the Note 2 showed up with a 5.5-inch display and the Note 3 pushed things to 5.7 inches.

Going by this logic the Galaxy Note 4 should have come with a 5.9-inch display, which would see it match the HTC One Max and LG G Pro 2, while still falling short of the 6.4-inch Sony Xperia Z Ultra.

But actually Samsung showed admirable restraint, keeping the Note 4 to the 5.7 inches of its predecessor, but throwing a boat-load more quality into its killer feature.
The screen now boasts Quad HD Super AMOLED (2,560 x 1,440 resolution) technology that stretches to 500 pixels per inch.

Plus, Samsung is throwing in what it is calling an adaptive display - one that changes depending on the light of the place you are viewing the screen - and on paper you have the optimum viewing no matter what situation you are in. All this work has paid off, because it was recently hailed as having the best screen of any smartphone.

Samsung even decided to get fancy and launch a variant of the phone called the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, which has a curved display that folds around the spine of the phone. Sadly this didn't make it to the main device, but it's a good test to see if there's desire for such innovation.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 power and storage

The Galaxy Note 4 brings with it a pretty impressive 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, which certainly won't be struggling to keep things moving despite the screen.

Also worthy of, ahem, note, is the 3GB of RAM that the phone is running - there are still plenty of people with PCs that don't have that kind of memory.

The internal memory of the Galaxy Note 4 is a not insignificant 64GB, which should mean you don't have to choose between your collection of Jean Claude van Damme movies and your lovingly put-together eclectic music.

Of course, there's a microSD slot too, with the ability to add 128GB more if you're thinking of downloading the internet for a day.Instead, it's gone from 13MP to 16MP but camera-philes will be more impressed with the Smart Optical Image Stabilisation, which helps keep every picture blur free and clear when you're snapping around.

If you hate the word selfie, look away now. The front-facing camera has followed the inexplicable trend and will allow you to take better self portraits, with a 3.7MP sensor with a f/1.9 aperture, allowing in a lot more light and mitigating the lack of flash.

The sensor can now make pictures look a lot more natural thanks to a 90-degree field of view – and the Note 4 has even stolen the panorama mode from the rear-facing camera to allow you to fit more people into your personal snap.

Oh, and you can tap the heart rate sensor on the back of the phone (more on that later) to take your pic to avoid shaking the camera. That's handy.

You can also use the rear camera in unison with the S Pen. A new feature called Snap Note allows you to take a picture of a piece of
