Horrible phone
Phone owned for less than a year

This is by far the worst device I have ever owned! I have a 32 gig sd card and it has nothing on it yet I can still only have one app on the phone or sd card at a time. Also I need to remove one of my gmail accounts and I can't. This is ridiculous! I wouldn't give this phone to my worst enemy!

Good Phone for Price
Phone owned for less than a year

The Samsung Galaxy Amp 2 may not be a high end device, but it does have some notable features. The build on this device is a plastic build with a removable back, which can seem a little slippery sometimes. Reception on this device is generally good, with only the occasional hiccup trying to pick up a bar. Call quality itself is nice, once the call is connected. In my experience with this phone, calls are good, but the problem is that it takes sometimes a while for the phone to connect and actually start ringing out. The 4G LTE and Wi-Fi on this phone work good for regular use. The phone also has a gallery app which can play videos and view pictures, as well as Google Play Music, to play all of your on-device music, as well as to download music. The camera on this is nothing to write home about. The rear facing camera is good in the proper lighting conditions and can snap some acceptable pics. Use of the LED flash on this phone is alright, even though it is only one LED. It also records 720p 30fps video, which is alright. The front camera needs adequate light for sure and can turn out grainy with darker conditions. This camera only records VGA resolution video at 30fps. The UI is good, as long as there isn't too much other stuff running. The 1.3 gHz processor is fine with handling tasks, but the real drawback is the only 1GB of RAM, which means a lot of your apps will have to start over in the app switcher. For everyday light use it is fine, but don't expect miracles from this phone. Text input is ok, but sometimes will hiccup. The display is a WVGA display, which isn't the sharpest, but the advantage here is that it is Super AMOLED. The battery is actually good for only 2050mAh.
