Samsung Galaxy A6

Phone owned for more than a year

This phone is very durable due to its metal back. it has survived a lot of use, and even still looks new. The battery life is great, the screen is bright, and the software is good. The only thing that it needs is more storage and at least 4 gigabytes of RAM.

Value Mid-Range phone with some premium features - NEEDS USB-C

Phone owned for less than 3 months

I used this phone for about 3 weeks for the purpose of testing it. Overall the phone is not a bad value The build quality is pretty good, The 18:5:9 aspect ratio and aluminum housing give the phone a premium feel. The processor is strong compared to other phones in it's class, but the T830 GPU is weak in comparison. The device is equipped with enough RAM and CPU cores to handle light/medium multi-tasking, however gaming performance was less than stellar. Battery life is good, speakers and microphone are mediocre, but get the job done. Cameras and included multimedia tools are easy to use and provide acceptable quality photos and video in most conditions. Despite the modern aspect ratio and amazing contrast of the AMOLED display, the pedestrian 720P+ resolution causes some images to look fuzzy when compared to the 1080P+ IPS display on the Zenfone 5Q. The hard bezel edges and recessed display panel make the device seem a bit dated. Speaking of being old... The biggest drawback of this device is the use of the ancient MIcro-USB charging/data port. This device would be a fantastic value if it supported USB-C and the features that go along with it.
