My mother and my brother both own this phone. I bought it for them because it was and still is the best pre-paid budget phone there is. With 4gb installed you don't have to worry about how many apps you download. Doesn't lag too much, only when too many apps are running at the same time. Keyboard should be redesigned. Keyboard plus screen size doesn't work with big fingers even though there is swype. Only a 3mp camera with flash and auto focus and a 0.3mp front facing camera, so not too bad. Battery life can last about 2 days. Software is on 2.3.6. Doesn't have auto brightness which kinda sucks but you can use the power control widget. For the cheap price, this is the best low end android phone.
Well the phone has very little available ram (356 mb available to you) Also this has a very crap camera. Don't buy this phone. Unless you don't mind allot of slowdowns and plenty of lagging moments. It has a nice build and a very nice screen. But it has too little available ram too you. Go buy yourself the blaze 4g instead of this.
This is probably one of the best no-contract phones you can pick up... Inside it features a 1GHz thats cleans up pretty well, but you may notice some lag once in a while, it also has a good front facing camera for video chats... But when going outside with phone, you won't be happy of its poor viewing angles, you won't be able to see anything in the sunlight at all. The 3.2 MP camera with flash is not bad, but some images may have a slight tone of blue to it.. Overall, if you are looking for a good No-Contract phone with excellent battery, Good specs and 4G, this is the phone for you!
Great Phone For The Price. Android Gingerbread Included. (works great) Wonderful Screen. Battery Life On the Low Side & So Is Camera Quality. Fast Processor, weak amount of RAM. Uninstallable Apps Run For No Reason. If You Know How To Tweak It. Then This Phone Would Be Amazing! only reason it lags is the running programs sometimes.
At two hundred dollars, this phone has no competition. It is the best phone in it's category. In my experience with the phone, it has zippy performance. I'm a little underwhelmed by it's build quality. It is plastic-y and recycled from the Samsung Galaxy W but what can you expect? Looking at the positives, the device is light weight and streamlined. Reception is impressive in the Southwest Georgia region. Here in the boondocks, I still managed to get four bars of coverage even when I'm miles away from the center of town. Call quality for its price is pristine and clear. It sounds a little hallow but nothing to deter the purchase. The browsing on this device is speedy thanks to the HSPA+ and the 1GHz processor on-board. Pinch to zoom is quite responsive as well as flash playback. However, heavily flashed websites will boggle the device somewhat but it is miles ahead of the competition. The multimedia side of things is quite good. I loaded up Avatar the extended addition and it played the entire 3 hour long movie without a hitch. However the battery was drained to about 20% when done. The camera is my only real gripe with the phone. A comparable device- the ZTE Warp- has a 5 megapixel camera and is the same price. But this device has a 3 megapixel camera. The detail is ok, but noise handling fails. The contrast is bad and the colors are acurate but they are cooler then I'd like. But the camera is still acceptable for 4x6 printouts. The 1Ghz processor gets the job done. This device seldom lags and is optimized for android very well. However I'd recommend staying away from graphically intensive games. This device is very easy to use and has no major issues that will make it a deal-breaker. The text input on here is better then the competition. the 3.7 inch screen- although rather small- is really responsive and has multitouch input so the device will never slip up when typing. Not to mention, it also has the swipe keyboard. Onto the screen, it left me asking more. Not that the screen is bad but it washes out at the 45 degree mark. However the screen is very resolute at 480x800. The colors are natural due to the TFT-LCD used. The phone will last you quite some time too. From my testing, you can get nearly 7 hours of talk time. You also can get around 4 hours of browsing time and around 4 hours of continuous video playback. Over all you can get around 20-22 hours of light usage on this phone. But if you are a heavy user, you will not get past 8 hours so a daily charge is mandatory. Overall this phone gets the job done but for its price, it is miles ahead of the competition. Although 200 dollars may sound like a lot for a phone, you have to take into consideration that similarly specked phones run you a price of around 350-450 dollars unlocked.
Have you ever caught yourself saying i wish i had a phone that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg, a phone that i dont always have to worry about losing, a phone that can play most good games out there. A do it all phone that i can buy, OFF-contract, so i can maybe unlock and use anywhere. Look no further. This phone is what the blackberry pearl was for texting, is for android and smartphones in general. Has a spunky little 1ghz processor. same as the first nexus and the first galaxy... clock speed mind you, has an MP3 player, (why go buy another one) has a Scheduler, has free games galore, has an iphone 3g esque screen, which is beautiful, great, if not good battery life, wifi, wifi hotspot, other nifty items i haven't quite cared for.
Definity this phone is like the "Door"...... i don't know which one, but this phone will open it....
