I got this phone last summer and I have nothing bad to say about this phone. It's a great design, packs a lot in a think package. Even with the extended battery (a must-have for heavy data users) it's not big. WiFi would had been nice, but fast 3G speeds browse the web and do e-mail just fine. The upgrade to WM6 is a nice add on too.
great phone... the keys can be a lil hard to press and i wish the numbere were a lil bit bigger so that u cud see em in the dark....
dont ever upgarde to windows mobile 6 stay with the default one
I have had the phone since May, and have had to call it back 4 times. It is extremely unreliable, the simplest of features are sluggish, it freezes like a 1980s computer, and the sound is a waste of time. The design is very masculine, however, and the high end top notch multimedia features are exceptional. The signal strength is at at least 3 bars in Edge 40% of the time, 50% in 3G, and 10% very low. It even overcomes the jail that is an elevator. I paid 350 dollars for this plastic technology, and I was looking for a more elegant piece of real technological advancement. But, if you're not high maintenance and aren't loaded enough to purchase new phones anytime you want (like me), then this is the phone for you.
I found that the blackjack was loaded with tons of features and a bundle of smartphone capabilities, it beats the blackberry by a landslide!! With its windows mobile 5.0 OS and the large color screen. It was a preety tall phone compared to my blackberry pearl. The blackjack could have a better camera like a 2.0 or 3.2 like sony's ericsson and samsungs ultra series, but overall this phone get an A++ in my book.
After researching the blackjack for a couple of days, i realized that it was indeed a sweet device. Because i had worked part of the summer i had a spare 500$ to spend on the phone and a year of internet. The phone works great and so does the internet, in 3g and edge areas. The only problem with the phone is that it can take multiple steps just to accomplish simple things, like for example texting you have to open the contacts select one and select send message then type, where in a normal phone you just hit create new text and send it to them. Other than that it's awsome.
This phone is one of the best phones ive had recently, and i am a collecter of phones. this phone has all the features you can handle plus more. If the camera was a 2.0 it would be perfect. the only thing that i feel could be a little better is the sound, when playing music the speaker isnt that loud. but overall this phone is a killer.
After researching endless on this phone, I finally went out and got it. And I love it. The design is great, its nice and compact, very slim. When I open the box, I was really surprised that they also give you a extended battery and a battery cover for it. No other phone I had, came with this. The features is the typical Windows Mobile 5 OS, along with some Samsung goodies, Bluetooth, and the Camera is great. I haven't experience and freeze, hung, shut-off problems :knock: as of yet. The sound is ok, but the speakerphone is weak. It sounds like a high tweeter, where you have to hold it closer to understand.
Overall its a cool phone, there's so much things you can do with it, that you'll have to try it out, to find out.
This phone is great. Most PDA's and smartphones are hard to get used to and figure all of the features out, but not the blackjack. I would suggest this phone to anyone in the market for this type of phone.
I love almost everything about the Blackjack! Size is great, 3G is great, WM10 is great, the camera is not bad, the keyboard works well for me. I even have my BT stereo headphones working with it as well as my BT GPS and Mapopolis. It does everything I want. Almost perfect but could use WiFi I suppose.
