I got this phone because my smarphone broke and I needed a replacement right away. What made me buy it was the Full sliding Qwerty keyboard.
To tell you the truth, for the price I paid for it, I wasn't expecting much from this phone, just wanted something to call and text with, but I was quite impressed.
This phone is compact and lightweight. You can put a 4GB card in it, which makes it great for storing a lot of mp3 songs.
You can watch and store videos in it.
Texting is great. The position of the number keys might take a while to get used to but once you do it is easy to use.
I have no complaints about the battery life.
The only negative things about it would be that it doesn't have WIfi and that internet browsing is kind of slow. And also, the metal thing that holds the media card in place comes off too easily.
Overal it's a pretty nice phone. I'd recommend it.
Very good phone. I was quite surprised with its performance. For a samsung phone at the mid range, this is highly undervalued/under advertised. Good battery backup. Lasted me almost 2 days with abt 300 msgs per day (or 200 per day and songs for 3-4 hrs). VERY easy to type on the qwerty.
The biggest con - the qwerty slider strip (which flips the display to landscape from portrait and vice versa. It wears out soon on constant use, and the gemuine replacements too last abt 3-5 months (the strip costs abt Rs.500 or a lil less than $10).
so if u are carefull with the qwerty, ist a great phone! not very compact, yet gives u a good solid feel. and is quite an eye grabber.
I did tire out of replacing the slider strip for the 3rd time, so went ahead and got a smartphone now..
p.s - the fake call and auto reject are life savers!
cool phone: i loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove it. it's so nice. it look great. the music sounds great. the camera is ok. the battery life is good. it's very easy to write text-msg.the slide is going fast. fat(i like that) and small(i like that too).
this is the best phone i have ever seen..qwerty keypad is just amazing...really cool in its looks this phone works for longer number of hours as compared to my nokia n70.....this phone is superb..unfortunately i have lost my phone and want to buy a new one..pls help....
Many Samsung QWERTY phones are realeased this past years but this phone is the most outstanding for me.
The durability of the phone is robust.
i like the way it slide
the alpha numeric keypad is not that useful but the qwerty is so soft.
it's cheap.but versatile.
i like the color and it's internet speed is above average.the camera shoots like 3MP.
highly RECOMMENDABLE.
Well this is my first phone and It was awsome....The typing is really easy and when people found out that i had this phone everybody would come up to me and say hey i heard that you got a new awsome really cool phone and it has fast internet....and i love how the numbers are on the side and it takes really good pics and it has special effects...I love this phone and i have dropped it like 5 times and it hasnt broke so thats also good!!!!!!!!!!!!:)
It is really a cute phone. Too bad it doesn't come with a cable. The qwerty keyboard is really great. I just hate the battery life.
I live in the U.S. and I purchased the b3310. It is a very nice phone, but I am unable to use it because I cannot get my picture msg, download ringtones, or access the wap for t-mobile. I really like the phone but I have to send it back because after finally getting the right number to the t-mobile customer service in the U.K., I was informed that they could not help me because the phone was not set up for use in the U.S.. If someone, hopefully t-mobile, actually comes out with this phone in the U.S., I think it would be a great phone to purchase. Everything from the number pad to the qwerty keyboard is cute and easy to use. I went into the phone store to get help with this phone and while waiting, toyed with other qwerty keyboard phones and they were so confusing. This one (b3310) was very nice compared to some others.
I am a guy* that texts a LOT and i had the lg webslider at first and i had it for two months and for all that time it PLAYED up! facebook was SLOW AS! pages were painfully slow, i had time to go make a milkshake litrally, (waiting for the page to load), but i heard of this fone, i googled it and it came up only as pink, so i thought it was a girl fone, but my best friend said that he say it as BLACK, my favourite colour for a fone. So i saved up and i bought it.MY GOD, texting is a BREEZE! lg, it took me ages to get used to the keyboard, but the samsung was so easy, i was texting faster then the lg in 5 minutes tops! Facebook is so good, it renders the page perfectly. I had the phone conection cable in the box,(DONT KNOW WHY OTHERS DONT GET IT?) It is LOUDER!,,, Camera is equal to the lg, which in my idea, is fine with me. all in all the samusng B3310, in my idea is AWSOME. had it for a month,, NO PROBLEM,, lg started with problems after the first day.*(Its so not a girls fone!)
I purchased the samsung gt-b3310 there is no customer service support for this phone via Samsong in the US i was given a international number by the US Samsong support and told that this phone had not been released in the US yet The Samsong rep gave me a phn number for the UK and told to contact them on my own dime. The WAP profiles are litteraly evassive to cell phn carriers, at first i thought Tmobile was BS-in me bcz its an unlocked phone but i soon found that the phone just basically does not support Web brosing functions.. I am SOOOO disappointed .. i paid $220 bucks for this phone and in my home that doesnt come easy.
When you go to the "download software" section of this phone, NOTHING comes up for this phone. Maybe it's because it's a relatively new phone, but nothing at all on the phone's own, native software download page?
Downloading "Contacts" from Outlook should be a standard application.
I have just got my new samsung fone and have found it to be really good i luv it i have it in pink and my other half bought as a pre wedding gift bless!! But anyways its great it has a full qwerty keyboard plus the buttons keyboard too each time i use it i find out something new about it!!! full of suprises.
This phone has no GPS and for me that sucks... are we supposed to bring along our clunky maps and old phones that don't work properly trying to figure out where we are in this day and age? When you go to the "download software" section of this phone, NOTHING comes up for this phone. Maybe it's because it's a relatively new phone, but nothing at all on the phone's own, native software download page?
I thought GPS was standard at this stage or else they would have put "No" next to a GPS category. I'm trying to return the phone, I don't know how successful it will be. All I wanted was GPS and a keyboard and a half-decent web-browser and interface without paying a motherload for it. Why are those specs so rare??? It's not rocket science why people would need them.
I have not had my new Samsung mobile long but so far so good! I love the Qwerty keyboard and its really easy to use. The phone overall is fun, stylish and an all round winner for me! I was very lucky also as i had the last one that was left in the shop i bought it from so was really pleased about that! Very very pleased with the Samsung B3310 - Had mine in pink but the blue also looks pretty groovy! :):):) 10/10 for me :):):)
It was affordable, and it looks so good - has all the key features of a basic phone - I was dead impressed - internet is a bit slow and camera is of low Mp's but other than that its an amazing phone. So stylish!
i was so excited at getting my new phone because it was a present from my other half for our first anniversary. i was disappointed to find that a lot of websites wont work, downloading doesn't work and watching youtube videos is a no-go. this is disappointing because this is by far the best phone i have owned and yet it doesn't do what some of my cheaper and less advanced phones did. it looks great but it is a bit of a disappointment :(
