I watch almost every video that has ever been put out about this phone before i decided to buy it. Some people complain about the battery life...well i have had mine for three days...i let it die the first day and then i charged it and i let it die the second day then charged it. The phone easily lasted a day with moderate to heavy usage. This phone is the most stable and reliable phone that i have ever had. Unlike the iphone the phone browser doesn't shut down when ever it feels like it. I will update this review after more usage.
I've had the Palm Pre Plus from AT&T for a few weeks now. The gesture area takes a little while to learn but it makes sense and is a smart idea. The menu interface works well and and is pretty quick. The applications don't open as quickly as you'd expect since the menu navigation is so quick. The screen is bright and responsive but I've found that hitting small targets/links can be difficult. They keyboard is rather small but easy to use. I am pretty happy with this phone so far... EXCEPT.. for its horrible battery life. In fact, it is so bad that I am considering returning it. It becomes such an inconvenience. I find myself charging it at work during the day. For example. I charged it fully before I left for work. I didn't touch it at all during my busy day today and after 5 hrs theres about 37% charge left. Now, I do have it connected to the WIFI at my office but it should still last longer. I also have the brightness set to the middle and i have the screen off when not in use. I'm sorry but Palm needs to address this issue or they will lose what little market share they may already have. This is just my opinion.. I could be wrong.
