Feels like an updated 6T
Phone owned for less than a month

For those that had the amazing OnePlus 6T, this phone will feel very familiar. Its light in hand, well balanced, fast, and charges quick. Its a good budget option for 5G if your particular carrier is actually supported (I'm looking at you, Big Blue). The camera isn't anything special but it takes good, sharp photos that are color accurate and natural. Warp Charge 30T doesn't compare to the newer 65 but its still very fast. This phone doesn't have the wow factor of the T or Pro series, but its a good basic phone nonetheless.

The 8 does have a curved display but its not as noticeable as the 7 Pro was. I prefer flat displays but this is close enough that I don't mind it.

Phone owned for more than a year

They were so excited about the 9, they forgot to continue support for the 8.
Overheating issues, slow response, constant freezes.
Unfortunate, because the hardware is great.
When it works, it is a smooth device with a solid feel.
