Well, I am using Nokia X6 for about 8 months now...and it has proved to be a "Quite good phone".
but X6 been disappointing as there are plenty of other phones that are providing better services in lower price ranges....

But Extremely good for Music lovers...it "comes with music".....(over 4 million songs")...

I m using it since one n a half year and highly satisfied. Camera is extraordinary, much better than 8MP of c6-01 or c7. Sound quality is superb n accompanying ear phones are best till date by nokia. Very comfortable to wear. Touch response is excellent. Battery is lot better than other brand phones of same price range. Internet connectivity is quite good. Myriad third party apps make it more lovable. Its body is quite durable too. Full value for ur money.

I wanted this phone so much when it came out because there was a little bit of hype amongst friends about this phone so when I got it jealousy was amongst me but in all honesty this phone has caused me so many problems.

-Switches off randomly.
-Freezes
-Slow
-Boring
-Rubbish browser!

I must admit though ovi maps is fantastic.

My sister got the exact same phone and she has had similar problems and perhaps even more her phone has now broken.

this phone is best for those guys who want to connect 24x7 with internet and it has a better sound and display quality than nokia n900 its connectivity with 3g and wi-fi is too good i have operate it on 3g upto speed of 7.9mbps thats best so i make advice to you all thats its best mobile for you

THE NOKIA X6 16 GB is a powerful phone.... i used it again and again from time to time, i connect to my pc to transfer for more videos, movies with the size of 2gb per movie, musicx, pictures, and my phone doens't hang... the quality of sound is very very good.... and also the camera... the touch screen is also very good... much better than the Nokia 5800, 5530 and N97 touch screen...

Bought Nokia X6 16GB black for one month, here is my review. Please read before you decide to buy it or not.

1) {-Earpiece-}: This phone is sucks! I can tell X6 design basically copy from iphone, Iphone is black body with white earpiece, and this X6 copies the same. Not only that this earpiece design using silicon rubber on the earpiece. Making you very difficult to wear on, it keep dropping off from my ear tunnel, I had tried all sizes silicon head, none stays onto my ear firmly. When you wearing it while you walking, you will hear the silicon rubbing sound, which affected the music quality a lot.

2) {-Camera-}: I like X6 photo quality, image is sharp, color is beautiful, I have no issue about the camera only 5MP, while other brand with similar has already got 12MP, because I think 5MP is enough for normal use, but some function just super STUPID, WHY such expensive and advanced high end mobile phone unable you to remove the camera shutter sound? You also can’t disable the flash light for good! The ignoring flash light will come back again every time you start your camera function; you have to disable it every time after you on the camera.

3) {-Organizing-}: In the phone menu, When shifting icon from folder A to folder B, the phone will auto guide you to folder B, then you need to go back to folder A again, then shift icon to folder B, then you have to go back to folder A again, then shift icon to folder B, and keep repeating the stupid steps, you will gets very VERY angry when you need to shift 20 icons from folder A to folder B, This is just a STUPID DESIGN. When shifting, should always, stays in folder A, or develop batch shifting function. Which Nokia never think of it, I think Nokia doesn’t want too much customers.

4) {-Mark & Unmark-}: I am always an Nokia fan, I had 6680, E51, N82, all these models has an very impressive function that I love the most, is the Mark & Unmark function, that allow you to select multiple messages, contacts, songs, image in a very short time and easy way. But now in X6, this function is a nightmare. This phone only allows you have Mark single, Mark all, Unmark all, Unmark single. What if I have 100 pictures and I need to select 60 of them, do I have to mark all first then unmark each file one by one 40 times, or do I need to mark each single file one by one repeat the same tedious steps 60 times? What a STUPID DESIGN!

5) {-Image explorer-}: X6 have 5MP photo, but when exploring photos took by this device itself, it takes 10 to 20 second to load the photo before it turns sharp, some even takes more then a minute. I don’t believe it happen to any Digital camera. I know Nokia is a phone is not a camera only, but the point I want to tell Nokia is: If your photo is high quality, make sure your processor is FAST enough to support this. It is very obvious that Nokia did not find the balance point between their software and hardware specifications.

6) {-Gallery Folder-} WHY in the image gallery folder is no link to the actual file folder? They are two independent system, which means you got to organize your actual image folder and gallery folder separately, If you shifted photos from gallery root folder to newly created gallery folder, then when you organize in actual file folder, you will see all the photos in the newly created gallery folder shift back to root folder. This is hell difficult to organize the pictures, and the another ignoring part is that when you edit some image in the created gallery folder, after you save the edited image, it move back to the gallery root folder, can you sense my frustration? Maybe you can organize in Nokia PC-suit, but what for? We consumer want to use smartphone as small computer, why need to perform some simple task by connect through PC! Double job right!!!

7) {-Touch screen-}, I like the capacitive touch screen, is same as Iphone, is sensitive, but no multi-touch function, Landscape keypad too small. If X6 want to copy Iphone, then copy their technology, don’t just copy the look!

I like Nokia, but this time Nokia X6 letting me down deeply, my next mobile phone might not be Nokia anymore.

Never use a phone that always hang more than 2 hours and the connection to it on software in PC also not working. this kind of quality is over price and not worthy. The technical support and centre is not helpful at all and keep repeating ask you to reload software.
