C7

Phone owned for less than a year

Good phone ! :
Fast UI with just only 256MB RAM
Display is quite bad
Camera is bad, too
The internet is fast enough, but sometimes cannot load page
Battery is good, long-time use with just only 1300mAh
Watch the movies, play the music or play games good
Typing in C7-00 is not so hard

Nice phone

Phone owned for less than a year

C7 + Anna, not only solves problems with S^3, but also provides good multimedia, good calling... Nearly everything is perfect, except for the fixed focus camera (it still delivers great shots, although I wish it has auto-focus).
This phone is MUCH easier to operate and deliver music from my computer, in comparison to the Apple brand, which EVERY SINGLE THING has to be done through iTunes... Annoying... Nokia is way better.

sexy phone

Phone owned for less than 3 months

Nokia C7 is a solid smartphone for anybody. The build quality is fantastic and is probably one of the best. The display size is at the bare minimum of what a modern smart phone requires, but it gets bright and has vibrant color reproduction thanks to it AMOLED technology. Sadly, the resolution is low at nHD resolution of 630x360 pixels.
This phone is very solid, with its strengthend Gorilla Glass display and stainless sleel construction. An intergrated Ovi by Nokia app store and services makes for a great mid range device.

Nokia C7

Phone owned for less than 3 months

C7 is good phone
The Nokia C7, on which the Astound for T-Mobile is based, has NFC capabilities for mobile payment, remote access and info gathering, and was even used for this at the CTIA 2011 show. 500 Nokia C7s were available for attendees to use with the bCard Reader technology, which allows for scanning their ID tags when networking. You can read more about NFC in our article here.

The Nokia Astound (our hands-on here), will have the NFC chip also, but you will have to manually turn it on in the interface, for some reason:

"The Nokia Astound includes an NFC chip and the device software supports its functionality. The Astound will ship with NFC turned off, but a user can enable it by entering the device settings and turning it on."

We guess that's to prevent unnecessary battery drain if the chip was on by default, since there is not a whole lot you can do right now with NFC. Apple, Google, PayPal, and the carriers with the ISIS project, are all doing trial runs for their NFC payment systems, but the CEO of VeriFone says most of these won't enter our everyday lives before 2012, although this year will be pivotal for the NFC-related ventures in the US.

Still, with the NFC capabilities, and the recently announced live traffic updates for the free offline navigation on the slim Nokia Astound, $79.99 is becoming a very decent price for this handset, if you can stomach Symbian, although the Astound comes with the newest version that features updated browser and portrait QW

Excellent alrounder

Phone owned for less than 3 months

Migrated from a Nokia N95 which I had for 3 years, still rock solid, but out dated. I'm very happy with the touch screen, HD video quality of the camera and the operating system. Had some issues when I first started to use the phone, battery life, processer speed and so on. But after using fro a while the phone came back alright. May be the updates helped as well. I'm loving it at the moment and I think it's a keeper.

Extreem beauity

Phone owned for less than a month

Nokia c-7 is a beautiful and durable, compact smartphone . I just love to use Nokia c-7.The critics of Nokia Fons never use Nokia , i think they con"t afford decent phone. he phone has a lot of multimedia functions that will rock your world. Ovi maps is awsome since you can use it when offline. I'm glad that Nokia is not apart of the Android wagon. Otherwise there would be a very narrow selection in the smartphone market.

Mr.

Phone owned for less than a year

Had been using this smart phone for about seven months now. Did have some problems initially with the messaging, not anymore thanks to update PR1.1

For a phone that can do a lot, processor shud have been more. Install your apps only on mass memory or removable memory card. Installing onthe phone memory will not leave enough space for ram usage.

Good phone. Go for it.

Superb

Phone owned for less than a month

Excellent device. Much more useful for day to day user. It comes with very good price. No one smart phone can rival Nokia c7 for features except camera lacks AF. Indoor quality of photos is poor. Despite of camera it is still much more worthy to buy.I am really happy with this phone. Thanks to Nokia....

Great mid priced smartphone, with more features than some high end phones

Phone owned for less than 3 months

This phone is very solid, with its strengthend Gorilla Glass display and stainless sleel construction. An intergrated Ovi by Nokia app store and services makes for a great mid range device.

Nokia smartphones have some of the best connectivity options of anyone else. Included are built in TV out, without an HDMI port from the 3.5mm AV/headphone jack. Send and receive files such as pictures, videos, and apps over bluetooth 3.0 to another capable phone or computer. Read the data from another phone or USB memory stick and play back all the music and movies you want, without a computer, with a USB on the go cable. HD Divx and Xvid, MPEG-4, MP3 files, etc. play back smoothly on the phone. The phone has a dedicated GPS receiver to offer free turn by turn voice navigation, even without a data plan or cellular service plan. The 8 mega pixel camera takes great daylight photos, and decent night photos with the dual LED flash. It can record 720p HD videos. The phone has a Pentaband antenna, which allows it to be used 3G around the world, or on any SIM card cellular service provider. It can share it's internet conection through WIfi, USB, or bluetooth. It can play the latest 3D games such as Angry Birds and Need for Speed Shift HD. Up to 3 customizable homescreen for all your shortcuts, apps, games, social networks, news, and emails, etc. The glass display is a capacitive, multitouch, pinch to zoom AMOLED.

Overall, a modern smartphone that will not disappoint.

C7

Phone owned for less than a month

Great phone and will get better and better as shown by the recent PR 1.1 update. Quality and features are brilliant, just camera could be a bit better. iOS is too limiting, Android puts all the content of your PC and Cell Phone in the hands of Google and WM7 is well, out of the game I guess, at least in the current version. Som despite many may object, I still believe Symbian is the way to go, has al the stuff I need and finally starts to catch up with the lot.
