superb and trusty

Phone owned for more than a year

it is a very nice phone, long battery, nice UI, OS ,but design is bad,its more worth for the money nstalling Oper Mini will greatly improve your internet experience, trust me. But honestly, without WiFi, you won't be able to surf for too long without incurring heavy data charges. Also, the tiny and cheap screen ruins the whole experience either way

want to type with a t9?

Phone owned for less than a month

I can type faster on a numeric keypad with predictive text than anyone i know on any other type of mobile text input type- keyboard, touch, iOS, swype, you name it. That's why I got this phone... I was SADLY disappointed.

this phone is great, i read all the reviews, but it's useless to me: it can't keep up with my typing. i type 3-6 keys per second, and it can MAYBE keep put with the 3 keys per second pace. the software waits about a mandatory 1/3 second before it will accept a new key press. I have to drastically slow down my texting speed for it to catch all the letters i'm trying to type.

the only nokia phone i HAVE NOT had this problem with is the c3 touch and type. the e52, e75, n96, all of them have had this problem. it's BS, especially since the c3 touch and type is such a mediocre phone. If you're looking for a feature phone with a numeric keyboard so you can type faster, go elsewhere. the e52 has this problem too.

excellent phone, but...

Phone owned for less than a year

I like this phone because it is very compact in size and still offers most features you need. Outstanding are the gps navigation capabilities. The Ovi maps application with the fully featured driving and walking navigation is really awesome! There are a few decent applications around with Sportstracker that can gps track your sports exercises being my favourite.
For occasional surfing this phone is sufficient, just besure to install Opera mini / Opera mobile that offer a lot better browsing than the default browser. The screen is a bit small and longer browsing sessions can be a little eye straining. The voice quality is good, but the counterpart usually complains about the background noise being to loud.
Symbian is most likely not the best mobile OS around, but being a longterm Nokia user I have gotten used to their menu structure and I find it highly practical for non-touchscreen phones!

82% flawless

Phone owned for less than a year

its the cheapest series in which one could get almost all the parameters of a smartphone. though the camera is only 3.2 mp but the pic quality is very nice. it supports a lot of soft wares. Battery life is amazing, one may not need to recharge in 3-3.5 days.

Excellent phone for its price

Phone owned for less than a month

As the title says, its excellent. If you need a smartphone, with a basic App store (Ovi Store), this is the right fone for you.. Everything essential in a smartphone is included. As long as you don't need WiFi, you'll be happy. If you don't need a smartphone, the Nokia C3 Touch and Type is an excellent alternative. It come with a touchscreen, wifi, Classic look and a 5mp cam with LED flash.
