Average for an old phone.

Phone owned for less than a year

Overall a low end smartphone in my opinion, super slow processor at 434Mhz single core, not good, very unresponsive, takes few seconds to load an app, frequent lag in UI,and hangs frequently, and sometimes ever turns off itself, phone can also get very hot at times.Nevertheless,it is indestructible.

One of the best phones in under 150e price range. It's not business phone, but he can do it well. Great for young people who love to listen music on the go. Everything what it have insade works great: wi-fi, gps, music, video. Solid camera, not the best in the class but it can do good job in every day usage. In one word great phone.

My EXP of it

Phone owned for more than a year

Worth as the price. Good for people who just want listening music, watching video, need GPS in offline mode, write chinese handwriting. Not recommended for beginner user, because all the default is bad. You need to convert video to enjoy maximum quality, the camera is useless when night comes, so on.

pretty good, not too bad Nokia 5800 XM

Phone owned for less than a year

Best phone I have ever had but could be even better. Pretty good, not too bad. It was about 5 months I used it and no problems of any significance, but because of man-made nothing perfect. it is more stable and has more features than any of those other phones.

Best touch-screen nokia

Phone owned for less than a year

Could be a little bit faster, but it's not such a mistake. And it freezes sometimes when there are too many pictures on the webpage. Sometimes i can't understand what someone is trying to say, call quality really sucks. Internet is pretty good, but it closes for no reason every time when it uses too much memory. Camera is OK. Text imput, i raise my thumb for that. Battery will empty too quickly when you are listening to music. Music quality is the best part of the phone. :)

nokia 5800 xpressmusic

Phone owned for

I have never experienced a problem with my handset so far and its been almost 6 months i've had it. It doesn't freeze, processor is very good, the touch screen responds very well and the sounds are extremely good. To be honest before buying this handset I bought an iPod touch just for the music and not i hardly use it since i bought this. you get a whole year of free music supply and you don't need to download low quality music from lime wire or any other sources coz you can download extremely good quality crystal clear music from nokia music. I personally have no negative comments about this phone. Though this phone focus mainly on music the still images and the videos I have taken with the camera are extremely good and clear. I don't think you'll regret if you buy this.

this isn't a really good phone... many lags and errors when you opened an applications... and i don't know why but the sound quality from my headset is bad when i used to listening music. upgrading to firmware v40 didn't really solved it, but now there's many errors in music player, like the volume button on the side of the phone and the music button in the headset didn't working. it says memory full when i listening music and browsing. sometimes it can't jumped to another track itself...

I LOVE This phone

Phone owned for

I really Love this phone..I bought an Unlocked Nokia 5800 XpressMusic RM-356 About a week agoFirst, I Had Some Problems.. For example I couldn't Update my Firmware. but I realized that it's just because it's Vodafone Branded and I Have to Wait Until The Firmware is Available for Vodafone.. So i just Debranded my phone using JAF and Changed the Code . So i downloaded the Latest Firmware (v40) ..A Second Problem i had is that i couldnt Use any internet Applications like ( Facebook App, Messenger...) .. But all i had to do is to Change the Default Browser Settings to WLAN instead of WAP.The Third Problem i had is that when i try to open a Youtube Video Using RealPlayer . It says (Connection Denied) . But When I Changed the RealPlayer Streaming Settings to WLAN . all works Fine nowThe Latest Problem I Had is That the Battery Wasn't lasting as Long as i expected . But When I Changed Network Settings ot (GSM Only) . My battery Lasts up to 3 days with music and allNow . All i must Say is : Amazing WLAN, Good Camera, Long Lasting Battery, Loud Speakers, High Definition Screen, Good Look, Fast Bluetooth, Amazing Features,Good Performance..... an AMAZING PHONE

Love it, wish it worked - 6 months update!

Phone owned for

Well, its been back for service once, they replaced a "crystal filter". Dropped calls 6 times yesterday on a 35 minute drive home. Slightly more than the usual 3 times in a 30 minute call. Still no updates to correct the bugs, like the rest of the world has had for months. Still the version 20... firmware. Wonderful form factor, still love the phones whole concept, but it's just a Nokia piece of S***!!! This weekend going to get an IPhone 3GS. Never another Nokia for me. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice.... well, don't give the bad company a chance to fool you twice!

Nokia Best touch phone..expecting nokia to launh a sleek phn

Phone owned for

Nokia 5800 is best buy as on date , price has reduced to 13000 now.If you comare the other touch phones in the market available, its leading every where except its width which in 13mm.Samsung Star , Samsung star 3g, LG cookies and even Samsung Jet , no phone is close to it.Samsung Star which doesnt have 3g, Wi-Fi , Camera is Fixed focus as compare to autofocus in 5800, Video downloading at QVGA@15fps as compare to 30 fps in Nokia 5800.Internal memory is 81 MB in Nokia 5800 as compare to 50 MB in samsung Star. Battery is 1320 mAH in Nokia 5800 as compare to 1000 mAH in Samsung STAR. Processor is 369 Mhz as compare to in Samsung Star.Nokia 5800 has additional features. like GPS, TV Output. Samsung Start will cost you 9000 and Samsung Star 3g you can get in 12 K but it's really surprising that Star 3g screen sige is smaller as compare to its 2g model. Star with 3g doesnt have QWERTY keyboard and handwriting detection in it..i dont know for what reason......well i guess they have realized the drawback and very soon Samsung Star 3g with WI-FI will be launched..Hope with wider screen and QWERTY keyboard in it. so you can wait for that to happen if you are not in hurry.Samsung Jet looks to be gr8 phone with 800 mhz processor, 5MP camera with autofocus, dual LED flash supported by 4 GB internal memory. it has got MOLCD display and has GPS, TV Output, Bluetooth A2Dp, USB 2.0 copatiblity.Battery is 1480 mAH and its costing 19 to 20 K in india. the only issue with this phone is though they call it a smarter then smart phone but truely speaking we can not download ny new applocation, No copy paste.

Nokia 5800

Phone owned for

This is a exelent phone.. I have used more than 20 different Nokia , Sony Ericcson phones but 5800 is the best.
I found one miner problem in this phone That is we cannot mark objects by pressing a mark button. we have to mark every object one by one when marking several items.
