Quirky, but as an Android "feature" phone, it does it job.

Phone owned for less than a month

So far it's a pretty good phone. I disagree on Phone Arena's concerns about build quality as the model that I have seems to be built like a tank. Perhaps they had a pre-production model. The i886 has great reception and call quality and surprisingly the Opera Mini browser is pretty fast (by iDen standards) Half of my life at both work and my home workshop is spent in a basement and its reception is far superior to any Sprint CDMA model that i've had. The stock Android music player is pretty decent and pretty loud. The i886 has all of the Android apps that I really need so I really don't miss the Marketplace. My only gripe about the phone is the stiff keyboard and keypad which makes typing is more difficult than I would like. Also i wish that Motorola made the phone compatible with their Media Link software but DoubleTwist does a good job with iTunes/WM syncing. The software has an occasional bug here and there but nothing debilitating. Hopefully a firmware update is on the horizon.
