What do you want in a device? The ThinkPhone is something a little different. It has a focus on 2 areas that may not be what most think of in a smart phone: Security and durability. On those two areas it excels. It has water resistance and drop protection. It has tools that help you keep your software locked down. Motorola has been real good about updating the security on this bad boy. That keeps me happy. Also, there is a TON of integration with Thinkpad. If you use one for business or gaming, this phone is your jive.
In other more common areas the phone is mediocre. It has a slow camera that is only fair in a world where that is common to be near excellent. The audio is ok. The screen a tad small.
Again if you emphasize something most do not like me, than this is your device. You will not regret it. But it is not focused on the basic user.
It is unlocked and works for all carriers, so you will need to go through Moto for warranty which is not convenient. But the battery and charging is first rate.
