i'm quite content with this gadget except that i can only store up to 15 messages in my sms inbox. is there a way to increase it?

Super Phone

I love the v3 simply because of the size. I always hate the belt attachment type phone. The v3 fits nicely in my shirt pocket. Would buy again in a heartbeat!

Don't even think about it....

Phone owned for

This is a great looking phone. However if they are going to charge 500 dollars for this product, it should have the features like a five bill worth of phone. Yea, it turns heads and it's great for starting a conversation with a chick that you don't know, but who the f**k cares about that, I mean really? This phone does have bluetooth, poliphonic ringer, voice rec( which doesn't work as well as the Samsung or LG models ), cam ( which could only shoot at 640-480 ), and speaker phone. Yes I have to give it to them though, speaker phone option is the best I've tried on a cellphone. I guess all the years of building i-90's for Nextel helped them out a bit. But all the other options are equal or less quality of Sonyerricson T-68, terrible.

Ok, lets talk about the features that they have missed to put into their five hundred dollar phone.

1. HTML
For five hundred bones, I think it should be able to do all the things that danger sidekick can offer.

2. Digit dialing
On some Samsung models it offers you to dial by gently saying out the numbers while the voice rec system is activated. This phone doesnt even pick up " Mike Johnson" I have to say it just like how I've recorded it originaly.

3. Flash
I mean co'mon!!! How hard is it to stick a flash into this phone? Yes, space is limited on the top side of the phone. So I'll let this one slide.

4. Better quality cam
This cam is 640 by 480 pxl. Sucks... just sucks!!! most cam phones are now magapixle and it costs 300 bucks less.

All of which I could be just greedy about. However, I feel that this phone is overhiped and overpriced.

Motorola RAZR V3

I agree with the rest about the design: looks, feel, usage is just great. I have been using this phone since 2 months and the experience is good.

Downside: The functionality is poor for the money spent on the phone, these features are basic features which I feel all phones should have:
1. Alarm - no option to configure the alarm for each day of the week
2. No count down timer or stop-watch
3. Not possible to reject an incoming call (there is an option to mute the ringing, but the calling party still hears the ringing)

It's all about style, design, and gadgetry. This is the best looking phone. Just watch people stare as you pull it out to use it. There are phones with better cameras, video, and more memory. This is not what this phone is about. It is about status and image.

Not Worth the Money.

Phone owned for

this phone is over rated it doesnt come with any special features, it has same features as any phone but less. sure it has all that music stuff but i am finding it difficult to even find any mp3 songs to download searching the net and on the phone the screen is big and thats great but the features in it are useless and lacking. the camera is bad it doesnt differitiate lighting very well so it turns orange an all that it doesnt have a video camera the screen gets dirty very easy from the smear of finger prints on the key pad when i close it an open it i can see the number 5 on the screen cause it gets dirty that easy. its coo to flash around till everyone wants to see it and u have to afriad of them droping it, droping it open will break it easily. if anybody can give me information to help me out like where to find some mp3 songs an how to even use the motomixer. oh yeah it also lacks a voice recorder that u can record something and put it as ur ringtone its voice record limit is also small 59 seconds. the only good thing i find about this phone is the look everything else other cheap free and 50 dollar less phones features are way better like verizon.. somebody please help me out.

I've had the phone for about two weeks now. If first impressions were anything to go by this would be the best phone on the market. For a start in comes in its own metal presentation tin! Along with all the typical bits such as a charger you also get a USB cable and a leather belt clip if you like that sort of thing !! The phones looks and feels quality, its made out of metal but doesnt feel too weighty and because its so slim it sits in you pocket well !!! On the plus side its got a brilliant display, good camera, bluetooth and all the usuall fetaures that you'd get on top end phone such as this. However, to say it retails at around £400.00 sim free, there are a just a couple of things that could or should have been sorted. Firstly it only seems to hold 100 messages split between your in and out box (which is fairly poor in my estimation)unless im doing something wrong..though the V525 only holds the same. Secondly it only has 5mb of memory which isnt expandable. And finally it doesnt appear to have a stopwatch or timer facility. It wouldn't normally be a problem but i found myself needing one the other day....i'll probably never need to use it again though !!!

Its a flash looking phone which draws a lot of attention (i'll probably get mugged for it tonight!) but lacks a few things that the cheaper phones have. Its probably because of how thin it is. All in all id say it's a good phone if you can live without those fetures...but im not sure who its aimed at. Business users would find the memory a problem and its too pricey for the younger market, but if you have some cash burning a hole in you pocket id give it a look !
