If you live in the USA, then this is one of the best budget phones out there. Why spend $700+ for an iPhone when you can do almost everything the iPhone can on this phone, and then much more on top of that (due to Android being more open than iOS)? I've absolutely loved this phone (had a super cheap ZTE phone before), although it does get slow sometimes. Maybe I should've went with a Moto G Fast instead (+40$ for another gig of RAM, a better display, better cameras, and a slightly better SoC). 32 GB of internal storage is limiting when the system takes half of that, but luckily this phone has a MicroSDXC slot (up to 512 GB!).
One of my favorite things to do with this phone is emulation. It's amazing being able to play the first 5 generations of pokemon, Mario 64, and other games from consoles up to the N64, DS, and PS1 on a phone; I even got a bluetooth controller to play games with this phone.
I know outside the USA this is probably not a great choice because of Xiaomi, Realme, and other companies known for amazing budget phones, but none of them sell in the USA, leaving only Motorola and Samsung and Nokia, I think. Budget Samsung devices have bad price/performance compared to this, and Nokia doesn't seem much better.
