Display is simply gorgeous, with great contrast, live colors and excellent viewing angles. It's very bright too, and sunlight visibility is also great.
Audio quality is also great for its class, with Dolby digital plus you will enjoy listening to music on this phone, although you will need a good pair of earbuds. The ones bundled with this phone are crap.
Battery life is also good, you will easily get through a day with moderate to heavy use.
But the camera quality is absolute s**t. When i bought this phone, i wasn't expecting any miracles but what i got was way worse. There is nothing in the pictures to suggest 8 megapixels. The result is way worse than 5 megapixel shooters from big manufacturers. I installed google camera but that also seems helpless suggesting towards very poor optics or sensor (i don't know which manufacturer). Sure there is no notification LED and the capacitive keys are not backlit, and there is no gorilla glass on the display, but i won't have minded any of that only if it had an acceptable camera. I would have given it full marks.
Another issue is this very poor memory management. I was using Xperia T before this, which also had only 1 gb of RAM, but i had never experienced any slowdowns with that, despite the fact that Xperia T was a dual core phone. This phone is a 64 bit quadcore but open a few applications and the phone begins to stutter. Closing the apps also do not release memory, you have to hit that "broom" icon which releases memory, and you have to do it every time
