I got my Optimus from my daughter, who didn't want to pay to get the screen fixed on the one she dropped.
I loved the look of this phone right from the get-go. There's just something about the monolithic look! The glass front and back. Just too Sweet (this theme repeats itself when I bought my next phone, a Sony Xperia Z)!
This phone is, supposedly, supposed to be updatable to Jelly Bean, but I haven't been able to find anything. No matter, I still like LG's take on ICS.
The cam is the same one in the previous flagship, the Nitro HD. Decent pics but not amazing. Takes video not too bad, though.
I really loved the performance of this phone, but I just couldn't stick with it because I struggled with the amount of internal storage and the non-removeable battery.
If you can get by on 25 GB of memory, this is an excellent choice.
This phone is really great i have no problems with this phone
The phone itself is really nice to its build to its battery, however i strongly recommend avoiding this phone if you have tendencies of dropping your phone often, i went to Wisconsin for vacation and was sitting on a bar and it fell out of my back pocket and the screen broke right on impact, that is really bad however its not only wrong thing to this phone, it also has tendencies of erasing your messaging while your still typing, and for some odd reason it likes to notify you for no apparent reason, and one last thing about its durability, if you manage and get lucky enough to not break it, it may still function but for an odd reason, the buttons will light up but not the screen, and you will randomly find tannish colored spots on your screen, there is one more issue that i am aware of in which i cant remember but like i said, stay away this phone, it needs work
Has some good specs, but I'd advise potential buyers to stay away from this phone because the camera quality is terrible. the flash is the worst i've ever used on any smartphone. i am yet to test video on this device, but i doubt the quality will be any better than it is with stills.
Really good design and build quality, feels solid in hand. Display is great. Not 1080p, but 768p is almost enough not to see pixels when using normally. It's an IPS display, so colours and viewing angles are great. Battery is much better on my previous smartphones (Xda atom, xperia x8). Camera is not bad, but photos have a lot of noise and sometimes are out of focus. I'm really happy with this phone.
Great phone with premium look and feel. Gorgeous design, excellent build, sharp screen and a decent camera. Polished software and good battery life (with Android 4.1.2 official update from LG). Connectivity is good. Both wi-fi and data are fast and stable.
I just recently bought this phone for the cheap price of only $150. For what i'm getting in it I was amazed at the bargain. Quadrant Benchmark tests destroy my previous Galaxy SIII (~5000), Optimus G (~8000) on stock CPU settings. The screen is amazing, and you can really get a lot of battery life from this phone if you configure the settings to do so. The Camera may be 13MP, but it has average focus, some pictures come out blurry from time to time. 4.1.2 Jelly Bean is buttery smooth on here. This phone is highly underrated by the bandwagon flagships. If you want an amazing phone to use as a PDA I would go with this one any day.
The build quality is incredible. Doesn't feel cheap or plastic-like one bit. The screen side all blends in when the phone is off giving it a beautiful black slate look. The back has really nice looking and sturdy glass.
I think that this is the best LG till date and that it is one of the best droids there! i had many, if not all the top dog phones from all brands and believe me this is the only one who has amazed me so far, really great.
this is the best phone and most powerful. it beats iphone 5, s3,xperia z and nexus 4 in terms of deign, specs, and it's user friendly! i love this phone and i really love the display. I love watching videos on this thing as well as going on Facebook and just general use.
The G arrives optimus coming. Superfluid and everything else to have a great first, second, third and all impressions. The LG really whims. I think everybody needs one. Really, is perfect. Thanks LG for the great Job.
Its a great phone . The camera & battery life could have been better , but overall its a great phone .
The is probably the most fastest Android smartphone along with its cousin the Nexus 4 . It matches the speed seen on the iPhone 5 and the Lumia 920 . The UI brings some interesting features like Q-Slide which is useful sometimes . The front camera is decent . The only thing I wish is that I could remove the battery . But anyways , its a great phone and probably the best smartphone to come out of LG's camp .
it was a great phone. When i bought it it worked great and after 2,5 month it bricked it self :(
i went in a service to fix it but they said that they are unable to fix it cpu died :((( i was very upset because i thought that this was a great phone
This phone is excellent in every way. It has no cons. it does amazingly great in any situation, heavy use or everyday...
Its specs are just perfect. they match each other for ex. 1280x768 on 4.7 (high density) 13/8MP 1080Pcamera. Quad core 1.5 Krait CPU. The Adreno 320 does perfect job on the 1280x768 res. 32GB internal storage. 8.4 mm thick. Stylish modern clean design.
