this is a good phone . it has some problems the people can live with . . now the camera is greatt nd the internet is fantastic . display is ok . receptions are mainly the problem in some areas . . the music is awsome and the size is awsome . it can fit in skinny jeans lol . but this is a fantastic phone and everyone should have it .
Kept it for 2 weeks before returning. The size, shape, screen of the Glance are good, but the performance is not. The battery life is horrible and the reception is worse than my really old Nokia 2128i. It's one of the few candy bar (non-flip) phones around so I was initially enthuasistic. It has dedicated speakerphone and volume buttons on the side which are nice compared to the Nokia. But, the Nokia blows it away when it comes to battery life, reception, and voice quality. It seems the LG VX5500 has better reception than the LG Glance. People complain abou the "bling" metal battery cover, but it has a good texture that makes holding the phone easier. Also, the speakerphone is poorly designed, it's on the bottom so if you set it down on a table with the screen up, the speaker sits flat against the table - effectively sealing it and decreasing volume. Since this is the ringer also, it makes hearing an incoming call nearly impossible. Guess I'll keep my Nokia 2128i a few more years because manufacturers can't build a better basic phone than they did 4 years ago.
