Phone owned for less than a month

Best all round phone, Other flagship devices have their drawback...this has the least. It's big but not 2 big, amazing camera, optical image stabilization, BEST BATTERY LIFE, the display is beautiful, it's fast...not once has it shown any sign of lag...it's just amazing.

Exellent phone, but not perfect.

Phone owned for less than a month

Probablly the best smartphone in the market currectly to the moment of writing these lines. Nevertheless, it's not perfect esspecialy in the interface design and speed. If you combine the nexus 5 and G2 together than it will be perfect. So sad that LG and Google can't make one common phone to be called 'perfect', to beat ones and forall the iphone and galaxy series.

Best phone I've ever had

Phone owned for less than a month

I've only had this phone for about a week, but so far it's amazing. It's ridiculously fast and easy to use, and the battery life is pretty great considering how fast the phone is. The only (very minor) problem the phone has is that its dual speakers aren't very loud.

Simply Amazing!!! (sprint version)

Phone owned for less than a month

This is simply an amazing overall experience. Everything is a plus on this phone, the few cons are just minor things that doesn't really affect in any way the great daily use experience. The fact that it doesn't have expandable memory, I don't think is a big issue, having so many options out there for cloud storage. Removable battery? pppsssss No need, this battery is just great.

Like the phone...But!!

Phone owned for less than 3 months

I couldn't wait for this phone to come out! But after using it for awhile, I really dislike the power and volume buttons on the back of the phone! I've had the phone since it was released, but just can't get use to the rear buttons!! But other than that it's an excellent phone!

The king of 2013

Phone owned for less than a month

Coming from the note 3 as it was simply too big for me, and was looking for a alternative, I had high expectations for this device, and not only did it meet them, it blew them away, this phone is amazing. I have never been a fan of LG, but this phone sure changed that! the screen in my opinion is better than the note 3, the camera is on par with it and in terms of performance it's a tad faster and the battery life is the same. The phone however, is much better looking (at least from the front) And this is going to be my main phone for some time now!

Fantastic phone held a bit back by software

Phone owned for less than a month

The LG G2 is worthy successor to the Optimus G, with it top of the line specifications. Even with these powerful internals, the device still manages to have the best battery I have ever experienced on a smartphone. It's the same story with the 13 mega-pixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization. It is also the best camera I have ever experienced on a smartphone. The screen is beautiful, sharp, shows colours accurate and cramped into an unreasonable small body to fit the 5.2" screen. The most differential features of this device is: The big screen to front ratio, KnockOn, buttons on the back and OIS. All of which works really well and are all contributors to make this one of the best smartphones you can buy at the moment. The only thing holding this phone back in my opinion is the software which at times feels tacky and have small translation errors. But this can be dealt with by using a third party launcher and aps. If you have a lot of time, you can also change the icons by using the various customisation options LG has provided

All in all it a great phone with very minor flaws that are easily corrected, but still that costs points. I end up giving this phone a 9 out of 10.

Best Phone I've owned - One of the Best Phones out there

Phone owned for less than a month

I've had this phone for a little under a month. Had to buy it full price because of my data plan.
Worth Every Dollar.
I was skeptical at first because I have never owned a LG phone. I used to be a Blackberry user then briefly owned an iPhone 4 before grabbing a Samsung S3.

Owning the S3 (CM 10.1,7000maH battery) for that long and then making the choice for the G2 - no regrets.
I was researching for a long time whether or not to get the G2 or the iPhone 5S or even the Nexus 5. I wanted to get something worth top dollar so once specifications were confirmed on the Nexus 5 - I counted it out of the equation with the G2 being one of the main points of focus (N5 has worse battery, camera, smaller screen)

Another thing that worried me about going with the G2 was the developer community - but after seeing initial reaction and the XDA section for the G2 grow, my faith for the device was growing.
Once I was in store, after weeks of research and videos and this and that, I held both the 5S and the G2.
I appreciate good technology so this is why I was also considering the 5S but after being entrenched in the Google ecosystem for so long and knowing the sacrifices I would of needed to make if I adopted iOS, I walked out with the G2.
This phone has blown me away since I've used it. The screen compared to AMOLED screens just blows them out of the water. I have never been so impressed. The camera is amazing and the features that are offered (yes knocked off from
Samsung) are great and useful and are there if you need them. The quality of my photos and videos are the best I've seen - low light could use work, hopefully with a software update soon.
The performance of the G2 is unmatched - fast, responsive and everything you could expect with the specifications listed.
The notification area was cluttered, but you can toggle off a big part of the clutter (qslide) in the settings which made it more reminisce of TouchWiz notifcation shade.
But with a help of a mod, you can also get rid of the brightness slider and the volume slider. HUGE notification area now and I love it sooo much.
The buttons on the back are strange at first but LG's logic was definitely step in the right direction. Your index finger will naturally go to the spot every time you use the phone with one hand.
However, Knock on is the unsung hero of this phone. I though it was gimmicky but you use it all the time and I can't see myself without it. One of the best features of this phone hands down.
The battery is amazing for stock. Lasts me 20 hours with heavy use, screen goes from 70% to 100% brightness.
Also the IR blaster came in handy when I was visiting my GF at her university and her TV had no remote. In less than 30 seconds my phone controlled her TV. Blew her mind haha.
Speakers could be louder - thankfully Viper4Android exists.
I fully recommend this phone to anyone. And if you are waiting for the N5 to drop and love a premium phone - BUY THIS PHONE

What an Upgrade!

Phone owned for less than a month

Two and a half years ago, I purchased my first smartphone, the Motorola Droid 3. After the excitement wore off, I noticed a lot of flaws. This phone, however is near-perfect for me. The build quality is decent, and while some hate the back buttons, I love them as a feature. Reception is great and rarely stops suddenly. Call quality is not the best, but is better than the Droid 3. The default Chrome browser is fantastic. However, the rest of the default software is bad-looking to me. However, with the mad customization skills of Android and:
Nova Launcher
Holo Light Icon Theme
Go Locker Jelly Bean Theme
Go SMS
DoubleTwist
Maildroid
and Focal,
I made it much better-looking (again, in my opinion). The camera is phenomenal. The "Cheese Shutter" that takes pictures when you say cheese is very useful for group photos. Everything about this phone is fast. The 1080x1920 display is bright and has great viewing angles. The battery lasts forever. The phone lasted about six hours of heavy usage with location, bluetooth, and wifi enabled. This phone is the best phone available right now on Verizon. Between the Galaxy Note III qand this, this was my choice

LG really outdid themselves

Phone owned for less than a month

I hadn't expected to get a new phone, I was stuck with the VZW GNEX as I refused to upgrade due to the fact that it would mean losing my unlimited data. However, due to a glitch in VZW's website, I was able to upgrade and keep my unlimited data. This phone triumphs in every category. What blows me away the most is the battery life, I just cannot believe this beast of a phone can last this long. The lack of slugishness compared to my old GNEX is night and day, it never slows down. The IPS screen is also a huge improvement over super AMOLED; when comparing the two side by side, AMOLED is very bluish. I cannot say enough about how great this phone is.

Exceptional in every way

Phone owned for less than a month

The LG G2 has exceeded my expectations in almost very way. The screen is exceptionally clear, bright, and visible even in the sun. The double tap on/off feature is user friendly, as is the placement of the power and volume buttons on the back of the device; I no longer bump the power or volume controls as I dod on my last smartphone. And, the camera takes great photos. All-in-all, an excellent device!

Guaranteed Monster of destruction!

Phone owned for less than a month

This phone is the best I have had to date. The phone is very sleek and stylish and has some amazing features. The Camera produces excellent very contrast pictures with a lot of clarity is what you would expect from a high end Camera in a High end smartphone.

The screen is absolutely gorgeous. LG's screen technology is one of the best on the planet and the fact it is on a smartphone is unbelievable. Full HD videos look nothing short of astounding.

Thanks to the good partnership with Qualcomm and LG, The G2 comes with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 quad core processor clocked at 2.26GHz and has a Adreno 330 CPU. The phone comes loaded with 2GB of ram and 16 or 32GB of storage 10GB or 24GB available depending which model you choose.

Would recommend this phone to anyone who is interested in buying a future speed proof phone.

Nexus 5- Stock android experience, Buttons on the sides, price tag, developer edition mabye and the latest version of android.

LG G2- Features, LG Skin, FM Radio, ir blaster, better battery and maybe more storage depending what the nexus 5 will come with.

Thank you for reading.
