Best phoneon the market!

Phone owned for

So this phone is such a surprise to me. It is one of the best phones I have ever used. The looks are amazing. The MP3 player sounds as good as my iPod. The Battery life is better than what I would have imagined. The only thing I could say bad about this phone is that the heat sensitive buttons on the front are a bit quirky and take some getting used to. But once you use the phone for a few days and set the sensitivity to match you touch its not a big deal.

Also, the music transfer can be quirky and problematic. But it gets the job done and again, once you use it a few times its no problem. A note to Mac users like me, this phone does not support Mac OS X. This phone only uses Windows Media player 10, which comes on the cd that comes in the Music Essentials kit. BTW, you will need this kit to use the MP3 player. You can not get music on this phone without the drivers and software on the disc in the kit. So plan on adding 30 bucks to your purchase price.

The headphones that come with that kit are worldclass. They sound AMAZING!!! And are designed just as cool as the phone with a high gloss finish on the earbuds.

Bottom line with this phone is that it is a surprising phone in a sea of phones that all look alike. It is truly a gem of a phone and is IMO the single best looking cell phone on the market right now. And beyond that it is the most versitle phone, offering many elements from phones that cost hundreds more. Also, the UI on thisphone is the first to use Verizons new flash based interface. It looks so good and is layed out in an intuitive manner. All in all this phone is as perfect a cell phone as anyone could make. I truly think it is amazing. And the MP3 player and battery life are awesome. Just awesome!!! Now go get one!!!

LG Chocolate

Phone owned for

I have just recently switched from Nextel to Verizon and had planned on getting the RAZR V3M. Then I went in and saw the new Chocolate. I had to have it. So I got it and I've been fiddling with it ever since. I love the touch sensative buttons. At first I thought it was like the iPod scroll whell, but you must tap the directional pad and not slide your finger. I love all the features it comes with. It takes very good pictures, and OK video. The only drawback is it's very small keypad. I have large hands and it makes typing a little more difficult, but I'm getting used to it. Also, I'm just waiting for the front screen to get scratched. So far nothing, but it's only been a week. We'll see how that goes. But execellent phone! :-)

No Speaker?

Phone owned for

No Speakerphone, what's up with that? Beatiful desighn, outstanding features,Verizon had to put their horrible OS on it, but i am used to it by now. The only reason that i would not buy it for is absence of speakerphone. Can play music on the speaker but can't talk on the speaker, that is an unexcepteble flaw.
