Love the phone, Got it when it came out and I still play with it like I just got it. switched from the note II and have no regrets, always preferred HTC and this phone has a beautiful design and a great feel to it. I usually change phones every couple months when a new one comes out, its gonna be hard to take this one from me.

This device is probably the best built phone out there right now. I haven't come across any lags on this phone after using it for 3-4 weeks now. I never had a "force close" pop for anything yet. Sense 5 is completely new compared to older Sense UI. You have to actually try the phone out before judging Sense 5. I didn't think Sense 5 was going to be that good but it proved me wrong. There's a few things that disappointed me though, i.e. the number of widget HTC proves has decreased, the panels can't be re-arranged, and also it's a hassle to change the wallpaper now. HTC also removed the skins for the UI that older sense had. Other than these minor things, this phone is really good to use. Furthermore, after reading reviews and comparisons of HTC One against Samsung Galaxy S4, I think I can say that the majority of phone reviewers prefer HTC One over the Galaxy S4 simply because HTC One doesn't have the micro lags Galaxy S4 has and it does everything simpler as well. As for the non-removable battery, it's better to buy a battery bank or whatever they are called. Buying removable batteries, when you change phones, you have to buy new removable batteries... I personally have never really removed microSD cards from my previous phones, I think 64GB is large enough. HTC provides 25GB on dropbox for 3 years as well. Unless you use your phone every second of the day, and can't allow 30 minutes for it to charge on external battery or you have over 64GB of media then the lack of microSD card slot and non-removable battery shouldn't really be a problem. I would recommend it to anyone that is looking to buy a new smartphone.

This phone will make you want to keep it close and pick it up all the time! It just feels so uniquely great. It's like an orgasm every single time you touch it. The aluminium body is so awesome! It really is something special and the software is a real joy to use with the BlinkFeed being exceptionally smooth and beautiful. The scrolling is actually endless as news items are always being refreshed. Did i mention the absolutely exceptional sound!? This phone has the BEST speakers EVER. Don't try to guess how its speakers sound by tweaking youtube videos. These speakers must definitely be experienced in person! You cannot hear the full stereo and depth of the sound quality through a recorded youtube video. It would require professional Dolby sound recording equipment to properly record the sound coming out of the dual front-speakers. Just do yourself a favor and go check it out in a mobile shop. Listen to it and touch it. You'll be hooked! The camera is something revolutionary and hits the sweet spot when it comes to real-life photography. You need to overcome the marketing brainwash that has been ongoing in cameras where the number of megapixels is directly linked to picture quality. This is not entirely correct! In real-life, you do not enjoy perfect lighting conditions to take the best possible picture. Most of the time, you will be taking a picture in the spur of the moment, somewhere in the shades, or at night, or in a place where there is no studio lighting equipment giving you perfect shooting conditions, and that's exactly where the 4MP Ultrapixels camera of this phone comes into play! Your pictures will look much clearer than if you had used any other phone, since this is the only phone on the planet that currently uses special lenses that allow 300% more light to capture the best photo.
This is the best money i've ever spent on a phone and i don't plan on going back to a plastic phone anytime in the future!

I'm always very cautiously optimistic about buying new phones at launch because usually the first phones out are the "tester" batch. However from the first day, the HTC One has been incredible. It's fast, no bugs, no lag, just smooth quick seemless transitions. I knew how to work the phone (mostly bcuz I'm a nerd and I watch all these review videos) but everything worked. The wknd I bought it I went to Atlantic City and not only did the Ultrapixels work, they impressed all of my friends. Even my boyfriend who was a skeptic saying the phone wouldn't live up to the hype I kept giving it, now sings a new tune...tho he's not louder than my BoomSound. For the most part the battery has been much more than sufficient. I've gotten through an 18hr day and still had 11% left and that included Youtube, Temple Run, phone time, AmazonMP3, fb, Twitter, BlinkFeed, and a couple of Google searches. Clearly this phone is incredible and deserves the #1 position

first i am note 2 owner and i really impressive with this phone too fast and smooth like ios also unique body design to its materials with sense 5 witch is better than sense 4 and smoother , blank feed and zoe is nice touch from htc , in the end i wasn't wrong when switch from note2 to htc one

Once you pick up this phone you won't be able to put it down, by the time you put it down you will have fallen in love with it. It's a joy to use and a thing of beauty. HTC's design team should be given awards for trying new things and creating this beauty. Samsung's really badly designed S4 (speaker where the hand sits, oily plastic, pointless gimmicks) made this choice an easy one. My next phone after the HTC One will also be an HTC.

Its design is very beautiful, I like to see at a glance on it.Samsung S4 phone is also very good, but I do not like its design (this is my personal point of view), If I had to choose, I would not hesitate to choose HTC One.

an exellent phone i was lucky to have it and espacially ith htc blinkfeed whick is the live home screen and its too good and awesome i love htc zoe the picture screen and the proseesor is fast and it has a strong body and it is the most stylish and good looking phone

Such a beautiful phone!! multiple times each day someone stops me to ask me about my phone, so many positive things from other people. The look of the phone sets it on a whole different level than other android devices. It feels so good in the hand, even with the case that I got (clear case). I do have the white/silver one so the phone can get dirty a little, but whipes right off. No fingerprinting on the back of the device. Now to powering on the device, fastest booting phone ive seen (especially if you enable fastboot in settings). The screen is great, super lcd has the most accurate colors and great viewing angles. a group of people can watch a video on this phone at the same time with ease. The video quality is the best out of any phone ive seen. The battery life could easily last you a day n half to two days, around midnight I have 50 percent (with a lot of internet, lots of messaging, lots of fb app, some camera, some video playing, some games). Audia quality is as good as it can get, I honestly came into it thinking beats audio is a gimmick, but I was wrong. You really do notice a good sized difference. Even when playing music from the phone on another speaker using Bluetooth, its far better than using an ipod. The sense 5 is far less clunky then previous senses. A lot more simpler, sophisticated looking. I especially like how the text messaging looks (custom colors too). The camera in low light is obviously one of the best. In normal lighting it is as good as the iphone if not better. Ive seen comparisions with s4 and id strongly recommend getting the htc one instead. Touch wiz is far too clunky, colors on s4 aren't realistic (best noticed in playing videos), camera is great but useless in lower light settings or if your taking pictures of something that isn't 100% still the s4 is really no good. Also id say the htc one looks a lot better. Speed wise they are both the same (htc boots faster, sam browser is .5 sec faster, htc one opens apps .5 sec faster, htc one navigates apps .5 sec faster)....also the way messaging looks on the s4 is just ugly in my opinion. Anyway great phone!!!

So far the best phone I've ever used. Beautiful display and build this is an excellent upgrade over my EVO 4G LTE in so many different ways, and is great to hold and a pleasure to use. I would definitely recommend this phone

Atlast HTC one Entered to the Market... I am Soo happy to see extra features in it... Its Ultra Pixel Camera Just blown away my heart... Its SHpae giv a great grip.. oh thank u HTC for making such a stupendus Phone

HTC makes great devises and this phone is no diffrent. Solid device all around and unlike others it does nto feel plastic and cheap. The audio bangs when using the speakers and video is sharp and clear. The phone processor has not glitched one time on me yet and is extremely snappy and fast.

I have had the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Nexus 4 in the last year and I have to say the HTC ONE is on a WHOLE different level. Premium metal casing is just awesome. The Display is the best I have ever seen in a smartphone! 468ppi! The Front facing speaks with beats stereo is just out of this world! The 1080p video is very nice and the ultra pixel does seem to take good pictures in low light. I'm a PROUD owner of "THE ONE"!

A perfect phone will consist of outstanding performance, booming audio quality. pixel perfect display of just the right size, proper battery life, excellent build quality, a camera for taking shots as good as an actual camera, and a very user friendly interface. That is not only the perfect phone but also a short summary of the HTC One.

I bought my phone about 7 days ago and since it is running Android, is set up for my needs perfectly already. All of the apps I have installed on my previous phone which tortured it's performance works flawlessly on the HTC One. After my first shot with the default headset I was blown away by the audio quality and the bass, since I did not know such small items can deliver such performance.

Just holding the HTC One was a dream come true, with the aluminium body it feels as if it was made for a work place, but then you take a look at how great it works and you can't help to not ever let go or give it any rough circumstances.

With my screen almost permanently on and my phone almost always running an app, with Wi-Fi and mobile services on, the phone still comes up to 7 hours on battery life.

I cannot provide any alternatives because in my eyes, no phones come near. This phone is truly revolutionary!

We all know its one of the best phone HTC ever made. Gives more competition against any other high end phones like s4. XZ, XZL, OF5.
built quality is good also with nice design.
S4 is also a good alternate to HTC 1.
HTC really did a great job. Looking more cool and good looking phones from HTC.

i'm so happy buy this phone the body are great and perfect display and big cpu and gpu make me relax to do anything so easy and fast the graphics and sense are fantastic just trust htc and buy it don't lose any thing

Once you hold this in your hand...trust me you will fell in love. It's an amazing piece of kit.
I've owned in order : Incredible S , Sensation / Iphone 4 (had them at the same time), SGS3 and the last phone was/is a Nexus 4 ( planning to sell it ). Last htc phone was a sensation, ok very very disappointed, to be fair that was the only thing that kind of stooped me from buying the One on the announcement day. Luckily I've had the opportunity to play with this before hand ( phones4u shop, Central London) and decided there and there to preorder. (remember the girl working there said to me it happened to everybody who got to play with the phone). Gents, I've watched all the reviews for this phone and there isn't one that does enough justice. I was smitten with my nexus 4 and thought i said there's no way I'm going back to custome android...once I had the One..I can't touch anything else, honest. I can easily say it's the best build quality on an Android device and definitely the first to surpass the iphone/apple quality (let's be honest this is something the little fruit always had). Camera maybe is a 9 due to the size...u know all the 4 up..mp.. BUT because of the quality of pics especially low light and all the amazing features and modes..it will be unfair to not score it a 10. Battery life ? no issues..easy a day (i would say I'm a medium towards hard/heavy user). Display ? Just like my friend shadowkiller said...it's like painted. The speakers ? BLOODY LOUD ! and bassy. I thought I would hate Blinkfeed, but I kind of dig it now...to be fair it's not in my way so thats good. Zoe and the gallery features are simply the best. Sense 5 overall ?? Yes it could get use a few tweaks ..but the thing is bloody fast..I mean it puts my Nexus 4 to shame (not gonna mention anything about the SGS3 just because all the "sammy" army of "fans" yes they call it sammy..sad.. will torture me)
My advice is to forget every other review, just go in a shop play with this and you will see what happens. I call it magic :)

When this phone was announced I was excited for it. Now I finally have it the phone is amazing! The feel of the cold aluminium is amazing. Im picking the phone up for no reason because it looks & feels so good.
The speakers are loud and sound great. Even at full volume there is no distortion.
The camera overall is good. It takes nice daylight photos but the low light photos are amazing. Even the nokia lumia 920 doesn't hold a candle to the HTC One.
The 1080p screen has amazing colour accuracy and amazing viewing angles. The pictures look painted on the screen.
I also am very surprised about the battery. I thought it would last all of 5 seconds but I can easily get through a day.
The phone is connected, with LTE, bluetooth, Wifi a/b/g/n/ac. The first phone to have WiFi ac.
Finally one of the best things about this phone is performance. The phone has never lagged for me even with power saving mode on. The UI is fluid and I have never lagged in any game I have used on the phone.
Would definitely recommend this phone.
