Google Pixel 3a is probably by far the best Google Smartphone I've ever used. I made a upgrade from my Moto X4 to the Pixel 3a recently and so far, the results is truly amazing since the Moto G (2013). The overall quality in this phone rivals the iPhone 11 and there's no doubt that the solid performance in this Pixel 3a takes the cake. And of course, the Pixel 3a has excellent camera quality and next gen Android updates that will keep the Pixel 3a feel new for the upcoming Android 12 for this year in 2021. However, the new Android 11 update for the latest Pixel phones kinda messed up the Bluetooth connectivity and I would like to see that fixed ASAP. Aside from all of that, the Pixel 3a is probably the best affordable phone you can buy right now if you plan to buy it at a cheaper price. And there's no doubt that Google continues to surprise everyone to see what they have in store in the near future.
I bought my phone May 2019. In December it developed a bottom speaker problem. There apparently was a quality problem on the phone's bottom speaker. Contacting Google I was able to get warranty work done through a local company. In less than 3 hours my phone was repaired by ubreakIfix. I was even offered a loaner phone, which I declined. Other than the speaker I LOVE the phone.
I have been using the pixel 3a for a few days now. This is my second of the "nexus" lines of phones if we can still call them that. The last of the nexus line I had was the Motorola nexus 6, and I enjoyed the experience on that device as well. This interface is certainly better than my last nexus, granted we are several operating systems further as well. If you read my review on the Samsung S10e you'll know I had an issue with the way I hold my phone and those bezel-less screens. This device while it has larger bezels also does not get any accidental touches. For now bezel-less is a no-go for me. The display on the device looks excellent, I believe its about the same size as the s10e, but it just seems larger due to the size of the device. The colors are quite accurate, and the photos look great on the phone display. I have had good battery performance and excellent device reception, the calls out of the speakerphone and the earpiece are very clear. I just recently switched to tmobile from vzw due to verizon being super annoying about letting me put a sim in an unlocked phone, some people have stated I am breaking up when speaking with them, not sure if its a pixel issue or a tmobile issue. Anyone have this phone on another carrier and having the same issue? I did turn off the squeeze for assistant feature, as I either would activate it too easily or not be able to fully activate it.
