So when I bought it used and use the phone it was really nice, let's admit back in day this was a big phone but now when phones are getting bigger and loseing features that was standard for flagships of this phones era. Features like the front facing stereo speakers which still sound good to this day , 6IN Amoled display still looks alright thou my units have a little tint of yellowing but I think its just the age of the display however the colors are not messed up , the battery is alright it's holding up ok I'm a lite user for the most time so I can get a standby time of 4 days but under heavy use probably 2hrs more if the battery was replaced but much better then the previous nexus phones that had smaller batteries , cpu is the Qualcomm snapdragon 805 that was the last good flagship SOC before the mess of the 808 and 810 , however i say u can that it still can be used I say the display resolution of 1440p is hindering it , when it come's gameing it does ok the most intensive game I play is Supertuxkart it runs it just fine with low graphics 30 fps , low intensive games should run fine. The software is where the nexus shines it runs stock android originally came with android 5 lollipop and the last update to android 7.1.1 nougut added some much needed features like split screen for multitasking , it's not feature rich like a Samsung touchwiz of that era however its more fluid than touchwiz. The camera is where the nexus6 falls over other flagships of that era however when u compare it to the nexus came before it, the nexus 6 was a good step up on the rear is one 13mp with auto focus and OIS it takes ok pictures when in day light however night time phone arnt great also there 2k 30 fps recording which isn't that bad.Now some cons one is the software for the camera has hardly any features kind of expected for a neuxs , no expandable storage then again the nexus had an sd card slot thou the storage options at that time wasn't bad 32gb and 64gb but today is small , there's a headphone jack however the tip doesn't go in all the way, the phone has fast charge however u need to use moto's turbo charge (the phone can wirelessly charge) . But with cons I can still recommend this phone I normally see used ones on ebay go around $60 to $80 .. One more thing is because this is a nexus (factory unlocked) u can get a 3rd party rom for the nexus 6 android 10 runs pretty well....
Had this phone since 2014. Used it until December 2016 and then switched to a Moto Z until January 2018 when I switched back to the Nexus 6. The build quality is amazing, although a bit heavy. The speakers are great. The camera is pretty good too. The battery is also fantastic. My only problem is it used Micro USB and the screen is pretty dim.
Water resistant, wireless charging, UHD, 6" screen, nice looking, dual speakers, etc. Hope they incorporate these in the Pixel 2. Go big or go home. Big hands like big phones with lots of screen real estate.
