i really do like this phone. I mean im not going to lie it does have a few glitches such as being too slow but over all its simoply amazing. the user interface is very bright and colorful and very easy to use. Also all the apps that i have downloaded so far have worked great. you know through it all i could not hask for a better phone then this one because it is so fun to use and there is alot you can do on it. Infact i hardley ever use my computer anymore now that i got this phone becuase it does everything my computer can do, such as enternet, games, e-mail, google maps and much much much more. IN ALL A EXCELLENT PHONE. WOULD NOT TRADE IT FOR ANY OTHER PHONE.   also nice camera

This phone is great!  At first release it was slower going from portrait to landscape and had some small glitches in it.  The newest software verison eliminated those problems.  Now there is no delay when rotating the phone,  Watching videos is great.  I am downloading the first three seasons of Heros on the phone and its like watching hdtv!  Great Phone and love the way the navigation works--sorry I phone no navigation!!  And sending and receiving pic or video messages also works great--sorry I phone you cant do that either!!  Hmmm  amazing that the I Phone cant do such simple things...  I love the 3.2 mega pixel camera with flash and autofocus

i dont care what anyone says, i think my blackberry storm is the best. Although there are a few glitches, i think that they are minor enough to be fixed in future updates to the system software.
Overall i LOVE THIS PHONE, AND IT CAN ONLY GET BETTER FROM THIS POINT!

this phone is alot of funt to use. there are alot of apps to download and the games work great. Also the music come sin very well. i am highly impressed by this phone and i love it alot. i am glad that i got this phone and probably wont ever trade it in

i went to buy the infamous blackberry storm one day and the first thing i noticed about this device is that autistic phone flips around like a diseased one eyed fish humblecrofting about the beaches of new guinea. after my knowledgeable eyes searched every cranny of this phones virtual interior i found out that this is quite the hooper of a phone

 
This is the best phone VZW has come out with so far.  It is the first Blackberry phone that I have seen where non corporate types are buying.  That alone says something about the phone.  Navigation and some issues but that will be corrected by an upgrade shortly.  The bottom line is this is the best smartphone out.  Before the elite Apple people attack, the iPhone is not a smartphone.  It's a pretty phone with a lot of icons

 
this phone seriously makes the iphone look like crap with its more vivid screen clickabel touch screen and faster enternet. I am amazed by this new blackberry it is a hands down iphone killer without a doubt. The phone is way more powerful then and iphone and has way more things you can do on it. Now many of you might be saying im hating on the iphone but the truth is i had the iphone and i turned it in for this phone and never could have been happier. Also its not just me that did this alot of people on this very site have done the same thing turned in their old crappy iphone and got this phone. i am not even lying this phone is soo much better i am very impressed by how good it works and how fluent all the apps work. great job blackberry and to everyone who is looking for a phone to buy and the best one to buy right now this is the phone. I picked up the Storm recently and i was amazed by its capabilities. The OS is pretty solid, its push email feature is great for those who always need to be connected and the screen is absolutely stunning.
 
I think many users who give this phone a bad review do so because they don't know how to operate smart phones. If you don't close down a program after you finish using it then the program will continue to run in the background, thus slowing down overall performance. I usually have 3 or so programs running at any one time (in addition to the core programs that are always running) and i have NO problems with freezing or crashing.
 
I'm an experienced Windows Mobile user and i can say that even in its early state this OS is more stable than my older WinMo phones ever were.
 
As for those who say this phone is too big, lets put this in perspective. Its only milimeters larger than the iphone, and almost exactly the same weight. If you want "big" try out the new HTC Touch Pro, that thing is .7 inches thick!!!
 
The only bad thing i can tell is the accelerometer is a tad buggy. When switching from certain programs it may not flip the screen immediately. This is a software problem however and should be fixed in an upcoming OTA update from RIM.

my phone is gone I took it backwith speed in my step there was no slack
I had given up hope from this junk I couldnt cope.
So take it from me buy it if a loser you want to be.
 

my friend has an iphone and he said that my phone is better then his lol. Yeeea this phone is better then a iphone. he said that the browser is faster and that everything seemed to work smoother. I like this phone alot and it is a great choice. Also the screen is blinding bright haha! its super bright which is great and the camera works good, Would not trade this phone for the world

you are really dumbe because this is by far the best phone out there right now. You should go cancel with whatever carrier you have and go get this phone. Its really tight how the screen clicks in and you will learn to love it. The screen is HUGE AND BRIGHT. this phone is a must go buy phone. so do yourself a favor and go get you a great reliable phone. THE BLACKBERRY STORM

 Although a lot of sites have given the storm bad reviews they obviously haven't spent enough time with it. As with all new phones it takes a little time to get use to the interface but the storm has so many features that it is worth a little bit of a slower response for them.

The update made my phone worse..Am tacking it back today....Very dissapointed in Blackberry ...this is not the way they used to do...Freezes up have to remove battery....Camera appears on a square in what ever else you are doing even though you have not called for it....Very slow in all points...Cant wait any longer for them to fix...Junk as is...

ummm the new udate for the phone came out and this phone works even better then it did before. Much smoother and no glitches on the device what so ever. You must redo your review becasue it is out dated. i like this phone alot and i have had it for a few days now. it is amazing the screen is really really vivid and the browser is fast infact i am typing this on my storm now. This phone is a must have and is just excellent all around

Hi, i've had the storm for a couple weeks now and I am literaly in love with it. The sure press touch screen is tremendous, however it does take some getting used to. The camera is terrific and the internet is just incredible. The only cons i have abou this phone is that it lags a little when you switch from portrait to landscape mode and vise versa but vzw will probably fix that in a couple months. Also, the phone does stall and freeze a little bit but every phone especially touch screens have that same exact problem so i wouldn't worry about that at all. I think that if verizon should be ashamed of one phone they have produced this year, it would have to be the Dare. The touch screen on that is horrible and doesn't compare closely to the amazing new touch style on the Blackberry storm. so if your looking to get a terrific phone but are just switching from a non to a touchscreen then get the storm, you'll love the sure press on it.

yup im trading it in guys. My LG dare that is. This phone is way better then any other phone in the verizon lineup and it is a must have. I played with it at the stores and it works so good. I love it and i want it really really bad. Sure the phone is heavy but i like that because it doesnt make it feel like its gonna break like some cheap phone or sumthin. I can wait to get it and i love love the bright clickable screen it is so fun.

AND I LOVE IT. this has got to be the best phone ever made. I actaully think its better then the iphone. Woooo making it and Iphone killer!

i have had this phone for a few days now and i dnt care what anyone says THIS IS THE BEST PHONE EVER. YOu can do anything on this phone i havnt used my computer hardley at all because this phone does everything you need it to do. With the new software upgrade the phone works sooooo smooth and is nearly perfect. The camera is excellent and the browser is amazing. I would not trade this phone for any other phone in America honestly. Also the screen is way brighter then the iphones....oh yea and i traded in my iphone for this phone becaue the storm is much better then my old ipohne piece of breaking crap!

this phone is pretty good although i have found some glitches i would still never midn them beacuse they are supposed to be coming out with a new software for the device very soon. I found that the browser is excellent and also the screen which everything takes place on obviously is also excellent. the clickable screen at first i was not very fond of but with a few days i grew to actually enjoy it. I  havnt had much use with the camera yet but from the few pictures i have taken they have came out very very well and i am impressed. The overall phone is great and looks of the phone is just stunning. I would have to say i would recomend this phone to people out there not only because of all that it can do, its fantastic looks, excellent camera and enabled application download zone but also because it is a solid phone with alot going for it and because it is on the verizon network which we all know is pretty much the best one out there.
