Very good signal quality, but I must echo what others have said. It lacks voice activation. Impossible to make calls when driving, which I do alot of.
I have the BB 7250 dissapointed in the fact that you can answer IM but cannot initiat an IM, what the heck were they thinking? You can surf the net, recieve e-mail, e-mail your friends, call them BUT DON"T DARE TRY TI IM THEM!!!
An FYI. The internet Browser has limited encryption capabilites. Some https Secure sites will not work.
Everything else is great. I tested all the supported formats and they worked. Contrary to what you may read on other sites and Verizon's web page. I was able to download email attachments and view them all. GIFs, JPGs, and BMPs. I was also able to use these pictures for background and screensavers. No Special email software is requiered. It's just a scam to get you to buy unneeded software.
I like the speed of the internet browsing on this device compared to the 7750 or the t-mobile/cigular devices (CDMA rocks for internet). The bluetooth headsets work fine, wish there were expanded bluetooth capabilities though. Speakerphone and voice dialing would be nice. Battery life is poor compared to GPRS phones, but I expected as much. I have yet to be able to set it up as a modem for my laptop, hopefully that will be resolved.. For a blackberry, it is one of the best that I have used, but for a phone it has a lot to be desired. The headset helps but without vioce dialing you stil have to scroll/select or type in the number to call on the device so it is not fully handsfree.
the phone and software works great, and it feels good to the hand. The buttons to answer the phone and access data are all confused. The disconnect button is sensitive and right where you hold the phone when you pick it up, thereby disonnecting callers easily. The direct connect button is on the top and should be replaced by the answer button. Answering and disconnecting calls is a painful process otherwise it is a very good phone, which syncs easy with the computers data. Doesnt come with a car adapter, only home.
I'm using the Mot V710 with Verizon for it's Bluetooth features. First of all I wouldn't use another carrier. Their network is the best. On the other hand
they are getting really bad with regards to smart phone as it relates to Bluetooth and other Operating Systems. Major disappointment on Verizon's selection, and even more of a disappointment with Blackberry's new 7250 phone features.
I've been waiting for Verizon to pick up the new Blackberry 7250 with Bluetooth for a while now, because the Bluetooth features on my Mot V710 are excellent
talk about easy of use, not to mention the flexibility of use and safety when driving!
Once you have gotten used to using voice dialing into your Bluetooth headset
you'll never want to you do without
you find yourself not even have to touch you phone for hours and never lose the use of your phone. They should make it a law when riding.

I have found myself chained to my dress because of email and therefore, thought that the Blackberry's new 7250 with Bluetooth would be the best of all worlds,
That's' until I started looking into the phone features. You don't have a speaker phone option, but you have Bluetooth which is only a glorified wireless headset. It doesn't have voice dialing which is the coolest thing going. What were they thinking? What a waste of Bluetooth technology! The cool thing about Bluetooth is that it can reduce the handling of the device.
I'm sorry that I have experience what Mot has done with Bluetooth technology. I guess if I hadn't been spoiled I would think that the 7250 was a cool device. You might as well save your money and buy one of several cheaper Blackberry's and keep your Bluetooth phone.
