Very good smart phone, iOS 6 update not so great...

Phone owned for more than a year

Updated (after iOS 6 update): Ever since iOS 6 the phone has not preformed as well as it has in the past. Most of my apps are not launching or are just completely crashing... My web browser is not loading as fast... over all I'm very disappointed with this update. And why oh why did Apple completely take away Google Maps!? Or more so why did they replace it with such a horrible one!? >:( Also while I've had the phone it's annoying to have a phone made almost completely out of glass. I've broken it once and now I have to hold it like its fine china for fear of dropping and breaking it again.

Original Review (after one month of owning phone): I have never owned an iPhone before this phone so I am new to all aspects of this phone. Needless to say I was very hyped up to buy this phone. Coming from using Microsoft, BlackBerry and Android OS, this interface seems very simplified compared to all three, although reminds me a lot of Android. The display is very vivid and very responsive to touch, this phone has never frozen or caused me any trouble. Everything is easy to sync, iTunes and iCloud make a lot of worry about loosing potential data go away. Thousands of apps to choose from and limitless amounts of music. Honestly I can find nothing wrong with this phone at all. Data is fast (for 3G), amazing camera, vivid screen, very user friendly, good battery life (for a smart phone), and over all feels very well built. Everyone has their different likes and dislikes when it comes to smart phones, every smart phone has it's pros and cons, where this phone might lack the security of BlackBerry or customization of Android, it makes up for it with simple interface, ease to sync, and fun over all. I have had many different types of smart phones over the years and with this phone I was looking for an easy to use phone that will not cause me any trouble, and that is exactly what I got.

Awesome Phone!!!

Phone owned for less than a month

awesome phone. I've owned a lot of different phones including other iPhone models and this is the best phone that I've used. My only complaint is that the screen could be a bit bigger. I was hoping for a 4 in display. But at least now you can customize notification tones. Hoping an app such as zedge will be available for iOS.

Best iPhone i ever own so far.

Phone owned for less than a month

I have been using iPhone since the first generation, and tried a few Android phones too (Motorola Atrix, Samsung Captivate and HTC Inspire) at the end I always end up with Apple iPhone again, cause the simplicity. I just hated to spend hours to flash and flash the room on my Android phone just to make it run smoother.

Pretty good!

Phone owned for less than a month

So I upgraded from the iPhone 4 32 gb to the iPhone 4S 64 gb. I had an initial problem with Siri where it couldnt find the network connection. One of the blogs recommended turning off Siri, turning off the phone than restarting. It worked. Now I can play! Siri is a tad slower than the commercials, but I am getting used to it. The speed of the phone is better, and I am noticing a slight change in battery power. Overall, glad I upgraded and will be looking forward to the iPhone 5!

It's pretty nice

Phone owned for less than a month

Got a white 16g 4s on release day from sprint. Went from evo 4g. Not really much of a huge upgrade honestly. I really like the iPhone 4s so far but it really isn't much faster if any than my evo (and I'm talking 3G). IOS5 is a nice operating system but android is just as nice and it really just boils down to opinion as to which is better. The small screen is my only huge complaint with my iPhone. (aside from the lack of free music apps). Also when browsing web pages such as phone arena the phone will not auto fit the text boxes to fit the screen after the initial double tap zoom which is REALLY ANNOYONG because you have to keep sliding the screen back and forth to read. ( like I'm doing now). Battery life is much better than my friends regular iPhone 4 in a side by side comparison. Siri is cool but it doesn't process your requests near as fast as it shows on te commercials. Honestly if my evo hadn't developed a dead spot on the screen from its 10000000 th drop I would probably have waited for the iPhone 5. Still, not a bad phone.
