Pair of official video teasers reveal the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s and its Smart Unlock feature

Xiaomi has released a pair of video teasers for its Mi Mix 2s handset. Mixed in with scenes that could have come from the upcoming Pacific Rim 2-Uprising movie, the teaser actually shows a young kid as he grows up and learns how to work on robotics. Near the end of the clip, he is hired to join the Mi Mix R&D team. And if you continue viewing the video until the end, you are rewarded with a quick glimpse of the near bezel-less Mi Mix 2s.
The rumored specs for the phone include a Gorilla Glass protected 6-inch edge-to-edge display, sporting a 1080 x 2160 resolution. That works out to an aspect ratio of 18:9. The Snapdragon 845 mobile platform is under the hood along with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB of high speed UFS storage. A pair of 12MP cameras adorn the back, and the front-facing camera can be found in a small notch tucked away in the top right hand corner of the display. Android Oreo is pre-installed.
One of the teasers can be found at the top of this story, with the second one directly below. We expect to see the Mi Mix 2s unveiled on March 27th.
