Update for T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ is subject of "small delay"
Back in May, updates sent out to the T-Mobile version of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ ended up being delayed for weeks. Now, history is repeating itself, sort of. An update that was scheduled to be released last Monday for the Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ and the Galaxy Note 8 has been sent only to owners of the latter handset.

But as confirmed by a T-Mobile rep on the carrier's support page, there has been a "small delay." The rep goes on to add that "It's not been significantly delayed like the last go-around. I anticipate you'll start to hear rumblings in the very near future." That sounds like good news for subscribers of the nation's third largest carrier, who are totin' the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+.

The delayed update contains software version G960USQS2ARF4 for the Galaxy S9, and G965USQS2ARF4 for the Galaxy S9+. The changelist includes the June Android Security update, various bug fixes and performance enhancements.
