Buy the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 9 from Costco and get up to $500 back with trade

As we told you earlier this month, T-Mobile has a great deal on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Those taking advantage of the deal receive 24 monthly credits of $20.83.
Now, warehouse membership club Costco is offering basically the same deal on the T-Mobile version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, but with one major difference. Instead of receiving the $500 over 24 months, you receive it in one lump sum. Whether that lump sum is in the form of a pre-paid Mastercard or credit on the bill depends on the trade-in. Costco is selling the 128GB Galaxy Note 9 for $950, so if you get back $500, you are saving 53% on the purchase of the handset. If you receive $250 back, the savings amounts to 27%.
