The conditions of the deal/s may have changed since the initial publishing of this post.
While perhaps not as popular and arguably not as elegant as 2016's Gear S3, the 2017-released Samsung Gear Sport can still prove a very smart buy at a big enough discount even after 2018's Galaxy Watch launch and this year's introductions of the fitness-centric Galaxy Watch Active and Galaxy Watch Active 2.
Like the company's newest smartwatches, the Gear Sport obviously tried to appeal to athletes and fitness enthusiasts, but it did so with a much bulkier design, a slightly larger display, and a handy rotating bezel. Tipping the scales at 50 grams (compared to only 25 for the first-gen Galaxy Watch Active), the sporty oldie normally starts at $280, although a number of killer deals brought that list price down to as little as $150 and even $110 in recent months.
The latest Samsung.com promo is not quite as irresistible, but if you bundle the Gear Sport smartwatch with a swanky pair of "true wireless" Galaxy Buds right now, you can get the two items at a combined total of just 220 bucks. The Galaxy Buds, mind you, are typically worth a substantial $130 of their own, going down to $100 a few times of late, but never much lower than that.
All in all, you're looking at massive savings of $190 here, and even if you don't necessarily need new wireless headphones, you should probably give the deeply discounted Galaxy Buds a chance, as the Gear Sport currently fetches $199.99 by itself.
Basically, that means the Buds will cost you a measly 20 bucks when purchased alongside the powerful, relatively stylish, feature-packed, and fully swim-proof Gear Sport directly from Samsung. By the way, the Tizen-running, Android and iOS-supporting smartwatch is available in black and blue hues, while the wireless earbuds can be had in your choice of white, black, or "aura glow silver" colors as part of this special bundle.
