Best Buy has the LTE-enabled Samsung Galaxy Watch on sale with a nice freebie included
If history is any indication, Samsung will probably unveil a companion device for the Galaxy Note 10 in addition to the new high-end smartphone family itself on August 7 in New York City. Of course, the company's smartwatch release schedule can be a little erratic and hard to predict, as 2017's Gear Sport actually saw daylight a week after the Galaxy Note 8, while the Galaxy Watch Active broke with tradition entirely by launching earlier this year.

All in all, although a Galaxy Watch 2 (and Watch 2 Active) are almost certainly in the works, a fall 2019 release might not be guaranteed. Hence, instead of waiting around for a sequel we don't know much about, you could purchase last year's original Samsung Galaxy Watch, which remains one of the best Apple Watch Series 4 alternatives offering both Android and iOS compatibility.

While far from affordable, the beautiful Tizen-running smartwatch is frequently discounted by its manufacturer, as well as various major authorized retailers, not to mention top-rated eBay sellers. The latest deal comes from Best Buy, beating most price cuts available directly from Samsung in the past... as long as you don't mind coughing up the full retail cost of an LTE-enabled Galaxy Watch upfront.

You'll receive a $50 rebate in the form of a free e-gift card if you do that, which you will then be able to apply towards a future purchase of... virtually anything that Best Buy sells. No catches, no jumping through hoops, no strings attached whatsoever.

All three Galaxy Watch LTE models are eligible for the $50-worth freebie, starting at $379.99 in a 42mm size and either a rose gold or midnight black paint job, with the 46mm variant in silver fetching a full 400 bucks. For that money, you get everything from built-in cellular connectivity to wrist payment support, standalone GPS functionality, a heart rate monitor, a beautiful circular Super AMOLED display, decent battery life, and even a handy rotating bezel.
