Pricing leaks for the European version of the Moto X30 Pro (aka Motorola Edge 30 Ultra)
The Moto X30 Pro is Motorola's highly anticipated Android flagship phone with an unveiling expected later this month. This would be what you might call a "sweet" smartphone with a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display sporting an FHD+ resolution, and a 144 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, you'll find the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, the latest and greatest Snapdragon Application Processor (AP) designed by Qualcomm and manufactured by TSMC.
The Moto X30 Pro will be the first phone to feature the Samsung ISOCELL HP1 200MP camera sensor. The rear camera array will also include a 50MP camera sensor and a 12MP camera sensor. Interestingly, it appears that the device will not be equipped with an ultra-wide-angle camera. What the device will offer is the fastest wired charging on any Motorola handset at 125W.
Tipster reveals speculation of an €899 price for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage Motorola Edge 30 Ultra in Europe
Today, a tweet from tipster Nils Ahrensmeier reveals the latest rumors regarding this phone, which could become a solid competitor to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. First, Ahrensmeier notes that the name for the global version of the Moto X30 Pro will be the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. The tipster says that the handset, sporting a configuration of 12GB of memory and 256GB of storage, will be priced in Europe at €899 (equivalent to $902.49 at current exchange rates).
The rear camera array on the Moto X30 Pro, aka the Moto Edge 30 Ultra, weighs in at 200MP
Thus far it would appear that the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra (aka the Moto X30 Pro) will be less expensive than the iPhone 13 Pro, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra (with 12GB of RAM). Assuming that the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra has the same specs as the Moto X30 Pro, we wouldn't be surprised to see some consumers purchasing their first Motorola handset in years as the weather gets colder in the Northern Hemisphere.
