Despite already selling two of the absolute best Android phones in the world right now (both of which have been released in the last few months), OnePlus is incredibly gearing up to throw a third heavyweight contender in the Samsung-dominated arena soon.
This will differ from the phenomenally well-reviewed OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R in (at least) one big way (or should I say small way?), going up against the likes of Samsung's Galaxy S25 Ultra and Apple's iPhone 16 Pro Max in terms of raw power in less than two weeks, at least as far as one major market is concerned.
Save the date... if you live in China
If you've been eagerly awaiting the official announcement of the compact OnePlus 13T flagship for the past couple of months, I have some decidedly good news... and some bad news for you today. The good news is the 13T's launch is right around the corner.

This comes directly from the proverbial horse's mouth, mind you, so you should definitely tune into the company's big "reveal" on April 24 at 2:30 am Eastern Time. Or you can obviously wait until the morning and tune into our website for all the (translated) details.
That's right, the bad news is the OnePlus 13T is only set for a Chinese launch... at the moment. Unfortunately, there's nothing on the brand's official US, European, or Indian websites to suggest that the handset will expand to any of those regions in the near future, but I refuse to believe this product is planned to remain exclusive to just one country.
After all, the OnePlus 13 was unveiled and released in the world's largest smartphone market a couple of months before spreading pretty much everywhere else, so perhaps that's the goal here too. Maybe the company will even speed things up this time around and bring the 13T to other Asian territories, as well as North America and the old continent, in May. Trust me, the wait will be worth it, especially if you're nostalgic about diminutive phones with... augmentative capabilities.
The OnePlus 13T is essentially an open book already
Described as a "small screen big devil" (at least according to a machine-translated portion of its manufacturer's latest Chinese social media post), the OnePlus 13T doesn't look like a carbon copy or a miniature version of the OnePlus 13 or 13R, and that's a good thing.

The first official 40-second promotional video released in China focuses primarily on the phone's exceptional maneuverability while showcasing all three of its colorways: gray, pink, and black. The rectangular camera island on the back is clearly smaller and subtler than the circular module residing on the OnePlus 13 and 13R's rear, and although nothing is etched in stone just yet in this particular department, credible rumors suggest the 13T will employ two 50MP snappers.
Another key detail to expect that's not officially confirmed as of now is a screen of around 6.3 inches, which used to be considered quite sizable five or six years ago but is now about as compact as a high-end handset can get.
If all that doesn't make you giddy with excitement for what's set to take place on April 24 (and, hopefully, shortly after that date around the world), then you might need to rearrange your smartphone priorities.
