Microsoft's giving away a unique black and gold Surface Laptop - but only 50 people will get one

Microsoft celebrated its 50th anniversary on April 4. However, it seems from a birthday celebration, things are turning instead to a birth month celebration. On Instagram, Microsoft announced a 50th Anniversary Exclusive Microsoft Surface Laptop: a gorgeous-looking one... that you can't buy, but you can get (if you're lucky).


As I already mentioned, this exquisite-looking piece of tech is not for purchase. But you can win one if you're lucky. Surface's Instagram page details how you may be able to get your hands on one of these beauties for free.

It's basically a giveaway. In order to enter for a chance to win, you need to do the following:

1. Post a picture of your Surface on-the-go
2. Tell Microsoft why you love the Surface in the caption of the image
3. Follow @Surface on Instagram (or ensure you do if you already follow them)
4. Use these two tags: #Microsoft50SurfaceSweepstakes and #Microsoft50 in your post.

Microsoft says the company will be giving away 50 of these stunning laptops. The full conditions can be found here. 

Unfortunately, this laptop will not be available for purchase. Also, we currently don't know if the laptop is powered by an Intel processor or Qualcomm's. Microsoft has not detailed any specs of the laptop in the post.

Meanwhile, Windows Central is citing unnamed sources claiming that the laptop is the 13.8-inch variant powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite. It is said it has a minimum of 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD. Pretty cool offer, I might add, especially with that stunning design. Good luck to you if you decide to participate in the giveaway!
