A cult piece of tech by Apple turns 22 and begs for your $350: Remember the iPod?
Legally speaking, the iPod can drink, rent a car, gamble, get a pilot’s license, and go to a nightclub – for a year now. Launched in 2001, the most famous MP3 player in the world turned 21 last year.
This year, the iPod turns 22 (what a surprise, right?) and more importantly – can be once again yours.
You just need $350.
A retailer offers it, as 9to5Mac reports – it’s included in Urban Outfitters’ “vintage retro tech” initiative.
If you were on the hunt for a vintage iPod mini, you’re out of luck, since the word is they sold all their stock at $199 apiece. The iPod (4th and 5th generation) is priced at $349.99, but it could very well be done with as we speak, since availability is not endless.

First introduced in 2001, the iPod is the quintessential MP3 player, and this 5th generation device (2007) is the perfect blend of new millennium design with modern features. These iPods have been updated with an all-new battery and 128GB of flash storage so you’ll have plenty of space for all your favorite albums in a faster, sturdier package. Each iPod is kitted with an original deadstock Apple sync cable and headphones.
