iPhone attachment adds 14-megapixel camera and a better flash, launches November 28
As we said in our iPhone 5 review, Apple's latest and greatest smartphone is well capable of taking great photos with its 8-megapixel camera. Those who wish to take their iPhone photography to an even higher level, however, will be able to do so with this peculiar add-on.

Popular artist and entrepreneur will.i.am announced the upcoming launch of his i.am+ gadget lineup, and the first item to see the light of day will be an iPhone accessory. Basically, the gizmo is a dedicated 14-megapixel camera equipped with its own image sensor, optics, flash, and what seems to be a dedicated shutter key.

No further details about the hardware have been revealed yet, but will.i.am promises that his attachment will "turn your smartphone into a genius-phone". Both the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 4 will be compatible with the i.am+ camera, so we presume that an iPhone 4S will work with it as well.

Interested in getting one already? Well, if you live near London you'll be able to buy the add-on at Selfridges, where it will be sold starting November 28. Pricing has not been disclosed, but chances are that the i.am+ camera won't come cheap.
