This might be Apple's iPhone X Plus: 6.5-inch screen in a compact body
Alleged 6.1-inch iPhone 9 vs 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus
Shortly after seeing what could be Apple's upcoming 6.1-inch iPhone 9, we can now take a look at an alleged 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus - which might be announced sometime in September alongside the aforementioned iPhone 9.
Thanks to multiple renders revealed by MySmartPrice and reliable @OnLeaks, we can see that the iPhone X Plus shouldn't differ too much from last year's iPhone X. In fact, the two devices appear to be nearly identical, although the new model will be larger (since it sports a 6.5-inch screen instead of a 5.8-inch one).
Reportedly, the iPhone X Plus measures 157.5 x 77.4 x 7.7 mm, so it should be just as thin as the original iPhone X, but taller and wider (in case you're wondering, the regular iPhone X measures 143.6 x 70.9 x 7.7 mm). Overall, this iPhone X Plus is about as large as the iPhone 8 Plus. As you may know, the 8 Plus sports a 5.5-inch screen, but it's got huge bezels so it measures 158.4 x 78.1 x 7.5 mm.
Everything on the iPhone X Plus seems to be positioned just like on the iPhone X - the notch, the side buttons, the Lightning port and speakers, and the dual rear camera (with an LED flash in the middle). Of course, we can't know for sure if Apple will name the new handset iPhone X Plus, but this is a moniker that makes perfect sense, as the device is basically an enlarged iPhone X.
According to a previous rumor, the 6.5-inch screen of the iPhone X Plus is likely an OLED one with 1242 x 2688 pixels. The handset should further bring various internal improvements, including a faster processor and a battery of at least 3,000 mAh (larger than the 2,716 mAh battery of the regular X). Without representing a major upgrade, this might become Apple's best iPhone yet. But we'll just have to wait and see about that.
