iPhone 7s Plus dummy unit captured in live pictures shows its shiny glass back side
The overall design of the iPhone 7s Plus is not much different from the current model, although we aren't offered a look at the front side of the flagship.
The glass back is meant to help make this new wireless inductive charging possible without having to add holes in the battery cover. However, since the glass casing is much less efficient at dissipating heat than the traditional aluminum, Apple is expected to add a new component in the form of a graphite layer to shield the 3D Touch sensor.
The good news is the antenna bands, one of the things that made iPhones easy to recognize, have been removed from the upcoming iPhone 7s Plus since the signal gets through the glass back without interference.
Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus and iPhone 8 sometime in September, but the latter might not be available on the market until at least October.
