iPad gets camera functionality thanks to the iPhone
One feature that some thought to be blatantly absent on the Apple iPad was none other than a camera – it was almost too surprising to see it missing when just about every device offers one. Not to be outdone by a larger version of itself, the iPhone quickly swoops in to save the day for those new iPad owners who miss that one standard feature. The $1 “Camera for iPad” app will surely be accepted by many as it utilizes an iPhone to act as the iPad's camera. Specifically, it'll allow user to take photos with the iPhone's camera and then transfer it via Bluetooth to the iPad where it is automatically stored in the Saved Photos album. Unfortunately, those without an iPhone will surely be out of luck and will have to look elsewhere. At the same time, the app is only compatible with the iPhone 3G and 3GS models – so the first generation iPhone will do you no good.
