Update: iOS 13 is going live today! Dark Mode and a whole other trove of small quality-of-life improvements are coming to the vast hordes of iPhones and iPads that are eligible for the software update.


Apple's big September event with all new iPhones is near, and so is the official release of iOS 13 to all eligible devices. iOS 13 was released for compatible iPhone models on Thursday, September 19, 2019. It brought a number of important new features, such as Dark Mode, swipe-style keyboard typing and revamped Photos, Reminders, and Notes apps.

What new features will iOS 13 bring?
